Rain or not I worry about these turnover drives ending in FGs. Their offense remains a threat, make no mistake. We need to be putting TDs on the board when we get consecutive turnovers like that.

I would wear the run/pass option out today. Up the middle just isn't happening.

We haven't tried to widen the field and spread the defense East-West. Runs up the gut haven't been working.
Really needed to convert one of those in to a TD. Could have stomped on their throat, instead we gave them moral victories. Here's to hoping the D stays tight. Don't want to let them flip momentum here.

Regardless of who wins this game I don't think we're going to learn who the "better" team is. The weather seems to be clearly effecting execution for both sides and it's forcing turnovers that wouldn't normally happen.
No running clock. Rain seems to be slowing a little bit and field actually looks OK
If we don't run at least 180 yds on this defense then we have running issues. Not promising so far.

True. I just wish Bucky would catch the ball either A) with his hands, or B) without falling down. I can count on one hand the number of times he hasn't dove or fallen over trying to make a catch. Sometimes it's been because he needed to. Other times I'm not sure what exactly he is doing.
