The whole situation is kind of heartbreaking in a way though. Bud Foster became the best damn defensive coordinator in the biz and put a lot of time into Virginia Tech. His dream was to be a head coach and he had to accept that dream may never be realized. He's got a great gig and a lot to be thankful for, but I would really like to see him get his shot, if not at VT, somewhere else (I know thats blasphemous)

Just FYI Anthony Poindexter is, I think, the Defensive Coordinator. I am pretty sure he would love to kick their tail.
ESPN's ACC blog occasionally gets shat-upon on this and other VT message boards, but that's quality reporting. A story probably none of us have ever heard, presented in a compelling manner. Great stuff.

This seems like a fitting place to share this. Kyle sang Take Me Out To the Ballgame at Wrigley last night which has to be a cool experience.
And on top of that, these guys have zero job security. All of us with desk jobs know that we can work for quite a while and not worry about our bodies falling apart. As long as we can sit, think, and type we're good. Instead these players have to endure beatings at least 16 times a year. Plus, the average NFL career is 3 years. Of course all of the players are looking to get as much money as possible. They don't know when their career will end from injury or teams not wanting them.
I feel like I've read all about this before, with the exception of Foster pulling an all-nighter and having to hide the fact that he was out of town from the rest of the team.
However, the story never gets old, so rock on Adelson!

He's a Junior for the 2016 season. Don't think he has a redshirt available, but if he has a season-long injury he may qualify for a medical hardship waiver since he was injured at Air Force.
My point being that most people who get SEZ tickets print off NEZ or East tickets to sit there, and there's a fair number of kids with East tickets who print NEZ tickets to sit there.
I just noticed the trophy says "Commonwealth Cup Participant", I actually LOL'd!
