# | Anyone have any idea what this VT Basketball tweet could mean? I can't see why NIT buzz is the sort of thing that he couldn't directly speak about. I'm guessing, of all the theories thrown out there so far, it's most likely Outlaw news, Buzz getting calls for a bigger job, or an unexpected transfer for next year.
Also, the pros of Gray statistically and astronomically outweighed the cons. Everyone here knows that.
Prior to the last few seasons? Sure. But recently his actions has been questionable at best. So IMO, worst case scenario is that Coach Mitchell fields a secondary that was on-par with what Gray did this past few years statistically, and best case is that he outdoes him. I'd wager that Coach Mitchell isn't going to have a drop-off so large that we miss Gray, so this is a def win-win in my book.
Marquette, the place Buzz just left?

Even if the hire is essentially a done deal, if and when Fuente gets asked about it, he'll just demur and say "we'll be ready to talk about that soon." He won't get out in front of the normal rollout that the Athletics Department does, complete with bio, backstory, and social media presence.

But in addition even in regions like the northern panhandle where Union support was strongest, it wasn't unusual for men to fight for the South.
These types of workouts are a common place in college football and have been gaining popularity in high school programs as well. The program I played for in college had winter conditioning too. They usually coincide with the beginning of spring ball beginning.

If you're interested in reading more about the situation, Black Shoe Diaries (Penn State blog on SB Nation) covered it pretty well. It's worth noting that they've got a definite pro-VT bias in this one. They (Penn State fans) also believe that Iowa's coach is an "Orange" because he wouldn't schedule a meet with PSU this year when they didn't meet in conference play. Apparently, PSU went to Iowa to wrestle them last time they weren't matched up in-conference and Iowa did not return the favor this year, which got many panties in a wad.
