Excitement level hit 11 when I saw chance of rain!
I still have my pompoms from the 2000 Sugar Bowl
Been having a GREAT time in Blacksburg today. I didn't fontina hook here and haven't been to a game since I was in middle school. Everyone at the TKP tailgate has been great. I walked 6 miles around campus already, I stopped at the Cellar, Champs, TOTS(sp) and some other place. I also ran into Tim Settle and his family and thanked him and his family from the TKP family.
Edit: He was directing a family member parking the car. I also failed TKP by not getting a picture.
Sad that I didn't EVEN have to google that.
And leg for mind bending awesome relativity.

Still 4 hours til kickoff...hurry up already
I didn't fontina hook here
maybe this will become the next "don't deny my pussy touchdowns"
Jon Laaser: "Hughes boots the kick with former Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller ready to field. And he catches the punt and is running up the field, he looks up and sees Hughes and fumbles! The Hokies recover!"
Mikey: "I don't think Miller got hit there Jonny, just looked up and saw who exactly it was was about to hit him. He must have talked to that Miami player who's life never was the same after AJ got a hold of him on that dark, rainy night in 2013."
hope u told Tim to keep the faith.....looking forward to see him obliterate the TN offensive line next year.....
How About the '01 Blocked Punt in Lane Stadium vs Miami?
I was watching at a friend's apartment. The ENTIRE town of Blacksburg erupted at the same time when Graham hit the field goal. It was glorious.
He does ABC studio stuff with John Saunders and Mack Brown.
That is correct. That play 1995 we beat UVA and that was their best team . They had beaten #1 FSU earlier and VT was trying to get respect in Football. We had trouble recruiting against them . That is when we started 10 wins and made the big step to the next level and that play is the moment in time that everything changed . The greatest win in VT history the win that changed the program we would go on to beat Texas in the Sugar bowl . We have had some great plays wins ect. but that 1 play is the one that stands out over all the others the struggles of being independent having difficulty scheduling ect. We had been on the outside looking in and that is when everything changed and it has been a great ride since . The win at OSU is the biggest win ever I doubt that there are many teams that could ever say they beat the National Champs on their home field in the year they won the Title someone should look that up but I bet it is a rare occurrence
So those woman with..............never mind.
Such a great thread!
I'd go with MV's run against WVU, but Clowney's catch in the EZ @ GT was pretty darn dramatic.
their tour tractor-trailers were parked at the Roanoke Civic Center last night, so at least some components of their band is in town
That's what I'm thinking is most reasonable. There are a lot of buses around between Roanoke and Blacksburg. People are probably just seeing what they want to see.
Could the buses be ESPN news crews or the football teams buses?
This is where I'm at. Tour buses are ostentatious. If all these people claim that they're in Roanoke, it would be all over Twitter.
The thing that gets me is that so many #sauces but not a single picture?
My signature quote from Frank is a good one.

1995 - Jim Druckenmiller freezes 2 UVA DB's with pump fake and then hits Jermaine(?) Holmes in the end zone to complete "the greatest comeback I have ever seen" - Bill Roth (sigh).
IDK....we've been at Hotel Roanoke since Saturday. We've seen a lot of VT players and a lot of Buckeyes, but not one sign of Metallica.
Leg for that reference!
I have been looking forward to our matchup with him this year. I think our D was gonna negate some of his prowess. Sorry to hear of his loss.

After reviewing the 2000 WVU game on ESPN Classic:
Let us have a moment of silence for Wayne Ward and Andre Davis.
...just because.
