I tend to like TSLs. Its easy to see what the new posts are, and you don't get those silly 400 post threads where nothing new is being discussed. This one is similar to 11W in terms of format, but I like the color coding of posts here better. At 11W it can be really hard to see where the new posts are. Here they are helpfully highlighted.
+1. Always forget how recent Torg bridge was built. Pretty impressive how quickly it became one of the most iconic buildings on our campus.

If you're looking to unload tickets to the game, probably best to avoid unloading them to anyone with an account that's older than a couple weeks.
If I had to describe my intensity/hype-level after watching that trailer...
I'd have to put it somewhere between a Corey Moore Sugar Bowl media session, and a fully-dipped Sam Rogers pillaging and burning down the 'Shoe in a barbaric rage.
I tend to go to the opposing team's blog before the Buckeyes play them and since VT is the 1st game of the year I just get to be on here for a month than the week that it is for most other games.
I believe we have our foursome for the 2016:
WR Divine Deablo, 6-3, 206, Winston-Salem, N.C. (Mount Tabor)
WR Samuel Denmark, 6-0, 175, Charleston, S.C. (Hanahan)
WR Eric Kumah, 6-3, 205, Woodbridge (Forest Park)
WR Phil Patterson, 6-2, 180, Virginia Beach (Bayside)
4 is a good number, every time we got 4 guys in at receiver, we've had a few turn out. Going back to 2004, we had Royal, Harper, Morgan (Hyman from previous class) and we had solid contributors. Had a kid named Gilchrisht in 2k4 as well (dont think made much of a contribution)
Had a slew of receivers in 2008, 2 of which were Jarrett Boykin and Danny Coales, DJ Coles contributed as well

Our entrance already has the Hokie Stone that everyone slaps as they exit the tunnel. I see where you're going, but they already bring the lunchpail to practices and onto the sideline for every game. I think that's more symbolic, and that part of the branding, that base, is already there.
Apologies for reading all of this days late, and I agree that changing to LP branding is great. BeamerBall has been mostly dead for a few years what with emphasis across the sport on special teams. LPD was for the past 20 years an integral part of Bud's defensive ideology and really the blue collar style of football at VT that really speaks to our fans. If Bud stays past Beamer, the LP might stay past Bud, it's that good of a symbol for this program.

That's been the only redeeming quality over the past few days. Watching these obvious OSU fans struggle to keep their lies together and getting blasted for it. It's entertaining at least.
If that happens, you can always jump to another one.
