At the beginning of the game, I thought we were playing well enough where we might actually see Leal today (for the right reasons).
This is what embarrasses me for the Hokies.
Miami isn't great, but they are far better that Md. And we handled them, with the exception of some ST's gaffes that didn't cost us.
But to turn around and just play a shitty game against a team looking for a reason to hang up their season... it's getting really old.
And most embarrassing of all: I'm out of bourbon. I blame it on coach krak_t. He forgot to head out yesterday for a fresh bottle.

Good news: the last time I bought a keg was on the day of the 2010 NC State game (been way too damn long). Bought one today. We were down 17-0 halfway through the second quarter and came back and won the NC State game. Now, that NC State team was a lot better than Maryland is, but still, whatever works, right?

I think Shane Beamer is just overconfident with JC's abilities. He needs to let Trey Edmunds be an every down back to get some momentum. I think you can partially blame (Shane's) personnel decisions for our lack of a running game.
We should use Edmunds the same way I used Thurman Thomas on Super Tecmo Bowl for decades. Run through the left side of the line, every play, all season long.

Hats off to Maryland in the first half. It looks to me that they found a wrinkle with running Brown and VT has yet to react. And on Offense, VT is out of sync.
