Well last weeks previous Seattle Hokie picks went 1-4. That was done during the work day without a drop of alcohol sitting in my system (except for the leftovers from the 2 bottles of wine I drank the previous night at a dinner). Anyway I suck sans booze and I am 50/50 with it. So basically this first pick has about a 20% chance of being correct if my math is correct and no, I didn't take 5 hour calculus my first year at Vah Tech. More later after I have a few drinks and watch the game on TiVo.
Fresno - I don't see a 50 - 14 victory here. Maybe 52 - 28 or something like that meaning Fresno covers. I do love the cheerleader picture, BCO. How come none of the Boise fans I sat with at the game looked like that? Not even after 10+ beers did I see any Boisian(?) that remotely looked 1/2 as good as her. Back to the actual game, Boise has covered every game this year I think, so I am going to go with my Opposite George and say Fresno, i.e. Boise will cover. More later...
I am back and of course off to a surprising 0-1 start. After you read these picks you will probably hope I don't win a game this week, at least the 3rd game that is. On to my picks.
Wisconsin - Another Opposite George pick here. I think Wisconsin scored too many points last week so they should have saved some of them. Look for the Wolverines to use 2+ qb's in this game and doubt they can keep it close.
OSU - Iowa has been disappointing and will continue to do so. The once anticipated undefeated Big 10+1+1 matchup of BCO's will now be a snoozefest. I will probably be watching another game during so will just catch the score later in the evening.
The U - My foggy memory tells me that the team with more to lose loses this game more often. Tech is now 2-0 through a 3 game stretch that many of us predicted we would go 2-1. Of course things have changed but I think we are in a worse position now that Princess Jacory is sidelined. His 1:1 TD to interception ratio would have really helped us. Also the U is back. I have been saying it all year and you heard it hear first. Look for swagger, Luther Campbell, some girls from the 7th floor and about 12,000 fans watching this game at the stadium. Please, Hokies, keep my losing pick streak going.
F$U - Maryland never delivers when I want them to. I was born in Maryland and wouldn't mind never returning.
Nebraska - aTm just can't keep winning can they. Maybe if the corn wouldn't have folded to Texas I would pick against them here but they should win.
