Clemson Loss

Quick/ emotional reaction:
My reasons for this loss:
1a. The Refs
Two bad calls and bad play reviews got Clemson and their fans back in the game. Video was indisputable in my opinion. My father who has watched alot of ACC football once told me that, "The refs used to make you score 3 times on Clemson before they would give you the td just make sure." (this is sarcasm in case you literally think the refs did this)

1b. Offensive Play Calling
The play calling was terrible in the third. Knowles End around, A fake screen pass to another screen pass, all the outside runs. The killer play being the Marcus Davis wide reciever pass. I think the players on the offense played well except for a couple of plays were recievers gave up or did not go all out on their routes. The Play calling in the first half was good but we decide to start throwing and do outside runs in the second half. The game plan should have been long sustained drives to take time off the clock, which we were doing in the first half and went away from in the second.

Other thoughts:
The Defense came to play and did. Bud has made this defense a good defense. Tajh Boyd was frustrated for 3 quarters this game. The offense played well as well.
Logan Thomas in my opinion played a solid game. I think the first INT was on the reciever and the second was just a fluke throw just like Tajh Boyd's first INT. I truly believe that LT3 is doing the best he can. The senior recievers are giving up on routes and not fighting for balls and the younger recievers are just too inexperienced. Just remember '06 with Tyrod, I believe that was the year of the terrible Boston College game at BC we lost. I remember the recievers being bad for that game as well...
Also wanted to say I am impressed with the players not giving up after Clemson pulled ahead by 3 touch downs. I can remember many Hokie teams that would have given up and stopped fighting but this one fought threw the whistle.
Finally I wanted to punch the one announcer in the mouth that thought we should just air it out at the end. I am tired of announcers that dont take the time to learn about our program/players/plays and just babble the whole time and throw out such gems as "Frank Beamer uses special teams to change the ball game" or "Logan Thomas is high on alot of peoples draft boards" either talk about the game and break down the plays or shut up!
