Barkley to Cardinals -- Logan out?

Eagles traded Matt Barkley to the Cardinals for a 6th or 7th round pick.

Barkley should be behind Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton on the depth chart, but looks likely to make the roster over Logan Thomas.

Sigh...if this holds true for Logan, it's a bummer. I really thought Arians would be able to groom him into a good NFL QB. I have to imagine someone would want to pick him up at least for a competition or backup spot.

Stanton also is making way too much money to be a backup on that roster. Likely he is gone within the year and LT and Barkley fight it out.

It is telling that Simms was the one cut first not Logan.

Logan will probably go to the practice squad with Sims being cut.

LT and Simms were cut, Hence the need for Barkley

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"
