OT: Wimbledon Final

Is anyone else watching what might the greatest tennis match of all time?

Not a huge tennis fan, but I do root for Roger and this match has been ridiculous. First ever 5th set tiebreak in a major

There was a lot of great tennis at Wimbledon this year. Didn't get to see the men's final, but my wife texted me updates during the match on Friday.

This was a great match. The reason it is the first ever tiebreak is because for a while they didn't play a tiebreak in the 5th set. Nevertheless, it was a classic.

However for me, the 2008 (I think) final between Federer and Nadal was the greatest match I've ever seen. Don't think this one quite matched the 08 final.

That was a hell of a match. I thought Fed had it wrapped up after he broke the Joker with two match points.

I saw a little bit but was mainly following the Cricket World Cup Final

I don't know much about the sport, but I have a few co-workers from India who have been talking about it. That final was nuts. England was all but dead and pulled a comeback out of their asses late and we had the first overtime in WC history.

BORG vs McEnroe 1980 - forever the greatest because Mac was a great villain, and Borg a stoic champion
Federer vs NADAL 2008 - because they were in the prime of their primes (though Nadal was sick I think)
Federer vs DJOKOVIC 2019 - because it could have gone on for days without the new 5th set tie break rule
FEDERER vs Roddick 2009 - 16-14 fifth set
FEDERER vs Sampras 2001 - not a final, but passed the torch from one great to the next
