Guensch, a Leesburg native brings 20 years of assistant coaching experience to the Hokies bench. Guensch comes to the Hokies from Missouri State where he had a three-year stint where the Bears went 69-31. Prior to that, he was at Richmond for three years, a year at Bucknell, three years at ECU, two years at College of Charleston, two years at UNCG, and four years at VCU.
He is a proven recruiter.
