I'm going to be back in town and trying to convince a bunch of my friends to go to the game and was trying to figure out the logistics of it before it gets too close and people start making other plans. Plis UPS wont help me, those bastards. We'll be coming from Richmond and mostly:
As always, any tips for the inevitable parking nightmare?
How plentiful are game day tickets, they're >$65 and I noticed most UVA games drop to around $5 a ticket the week before, does this trend hold for this game usually or should we just snag them?
Any Hokie friendly places to go before and/or after the game?
Or any other tidbits of wisdom as I have not fully thought this through.
I know it's early but it'll be the only Hokie game I can see this year and don't want anyone deciding it's easier to get drunk at a bar.

I don't know about tickets for the UVA game as they actually sell fairly well compared to other games. You should, however, be able to get them for cheaper once game time is announced. If it's a noon game (which it should be), the tickets drop pretty big.
As for things to do before the game, I'll need to see how ticket sales are going, but the Charlottesville Hokies have the Alumni Tailgate going at Fry Springs Station starting 3 hours before game time. The cost is 20 bucks per ticket and it's essentially a BBQ and Pizza Buffet...For info and the link to purchase tickets.
EDIT: spelling error corrected and also, max of 100 tickets allowed...will update when I find out from the organizer how many have been sold already.
