Hey guys, here's a brief story from my day job.
Dunno if you're interested but figured I'd drop it here.

I heard today Sam broke his eye socket. I realize this is #sources, so feel free to disregard until further substantiated.
Just saw this on Facebook. We have maroon and orange 3 game mini-plans this year.
Here's the hokiesports link.
I came across this article that has quotes from Luther Maddy as well as several other ACC and SEC football players talking about how they want a new NCAA Football game to be released and in many cases aren't that concerned with being paid for the use of their likeness.
Not in the game: College football players want NCAA video game back
Here's the section with the quote from Big Lu

Lets hope he gets his mojo back
Plenty of notes from Day 2 of the ACC Kickoff on Monday:

Not many people are talking about him this offseason. I know we have more depth and experience now, but Meyer was a guy that we were hearing about a lot last offseason as a breakout player.
The hamstring issues really killed his season and he never recovered as other guys passed him on the depth chart. I'm hoping he'll be healthy this season and be a dependable guy in the passing game. I don't expect him to start but he should help with the depth of the WRs.
I have some questions.
Going into the Loeffler era, all indications were that we would be moving towards a smash-mouth running attack. Yet last year we didn't seem to be geared that way. In reviews of our o-line execution I remember reading a lot about influence blocking, sweeps, veers, etc.
Didn't we put more emphasis on getting players to the edge than power running?
Is it harder to execute influence/zone blocking than straight man?
Here is just another example of #Whitness in action:

Saw this on Reddit and thought it was worth a read. I like the notion that its about fan engagement and them feeling like part of something bigger, not just more wifi.

The season opener against William & Mary is no longer a nooner. The game has been pushed back to 4pm!
Virginia Tech's football season has been pushed back 4 hours, but I'll definitely take it.
This may or may not be Whit's doing, but I'll just assume he's being awesome yet again!
