Both Appalachian State and the Hokies will rely on contributions from freshman during Saturday's game. Appalachian state is starting freshman at left tackle, left guard, receiver and right defensive end. There are 290 starts among the 57 players listed on their roster, an average of 5 each. The word out of UGA's camp is that Joel Caleb's visit to Athens was a success. However, according to sources close to Virginia Tech, Caleb actually came away from the visit not that impressed. Additionally, and more significantly, Caleb has narrowed down his two school choices to Florida and Virginia Tech.
