What a thrilling win to watch. This is an awesome group to watch when its clicking.

There were a lot of huge efforts on Thursday night, and I try to mention them all below.

1. Antone Exum - He got away with one on a third down crossing route. I thought Bud had him lined up a little close to the line of scrimmage much of the night, which made it difficult for him to get outside when needed. Overall, OK night.

2. Josh Oglesby - He was impressive on the first touchdown drive and the TD drive where Tech took the lead. He's a tough runner, but I'm not sure we should be pitching him (or Wilson) the ball on first and goal from the two. But I like them, or Logan up the middle.

3. Logan Thomas - He already has that Tyrod Taylor confidence about him. Like Tyrod, he doesn't really show stress in adverse situations. I'm just really impressed: The throw to Coale was a laser right on the money. The second pass to Coale was beautiful. Even the throw that Drager dropped was sick. And we're seeing what we were all waiting for on these 3rd-and-shorts...Really glad he's on our team - I would hate to play against him. I'd probably punch him in the head.

4. David Wilson - I hope you all are enjoying watching him play in the maroon and orange. He's really special, and Thursday night we saw excellence. I'm noticing him taking a fraction of a second longer to really make his reads. What a beast. (Just hold on to the football. That's all.)

7. Marcus Davis - I've seen people talking about his lack of participation on the Coale touchdown, but I honestly think he had no angle to make a block that wouldn't have interfered with Danny. That's pretty much the only time I remember seeing 7.

8. Dietrick Bonner - I know he came in for the second half, but I didn't notice him.

9. Cris Hill - I saw Hill do a few nice things, including an excellent tackle on the edge in the first half.

15. Eddie Whitley - I didn't notice our safeties much in this one, and I think that's a good thing. Although, I did notice 15 showing off his best cage match body slam on Washington. Something tells me Eddie is going to go wild on Thursday night. Final home game, playing against a team from his home state...

17. Kyle Fuller - He was lucky on a third down early in the second quarter, but the solid tackling he displayed throughout the year came through on pitch plays. He's really physical and was flying to to the football.

18. D.J. Coles - The catch he had near the goal line on third down was a nice route and a very impressive catch. And the second grab-and-run was probably more impressive. He's going to be quite the weapon before he leaves.

19. Danny Coale - Wow. He had me celebrating like I had caught the touchdown. We need to make sure he gives Marcus Davis some of his big play mojo before it's all said and done.

20. Jayron Hosely - Well, Jayron was beat on a fantastic play towards the end of the half. He was running stride-for-stride, but the WR just got up for it. Overall, it wasn't his best game, but only because I expect him to be perfect on every play.

24. Tariq Edwards - He got smoked once on a fake pitch, but I thought he used his athleticism to pursue the football well. He had a solid game, including a beautiful sack to close the first half and a monster stick on a 4th-and-1 at the beginning of the final quarter. Notice the teardrops, as this is Tariq's second time operating the sack drone.

32. Ricky Biero - Don't do that again. I don't want to have to drive down there and have a chat with you (which would probably end with you punching me in the face).

33. Chris Drager - The touchdown was beautiful. In my last three Roll Calls, I was asking for more Drager. What a perfect time to call his number in the red zone. My dad would have been proud of that boxing out technique.

38. Michael Branthover - That first punt wasn't even close, but the second was very nice. Let's see more of that, my man.

42. J.R. Collins - A Hurcluean effort. Seriously, the ability for the coaches to move him inside paid off big time. We've seen his strength on the edge all year, and he used all of it to keep that B back from tearing us up.

45. Joey Phillips - Well done, young man. However, I want to use this space to talk about Georgia Tech's #45. The genius who decided to punch Logan in the head. Thanks, man!

48. Justin Myer - Good foot, Justin.

54. Nick Becton - Very pumped about his outing. Dare I say he's getting much better as the season comes along. It's worth re-posting the GIF highlighting him, and the other OL, on the second TD drive.

58. Jack Tyler - It wasn't perfect. The late hit was brutal. But overall, it was damn good. It was a mountain of a challenge for the walk-on, and he answered with 12 tackles and a sack. Game ball.

62. Blake DeChristopher - He played an outstanding game. We're going to miss this guy next year.

66. Tyrel Wilson - He had to cover a lot of ground on those pitch plays, and I saw him out there in pursuit all night. Go back and watch the very first play of the first quarter and you'll see why I thought he had a good game.

67. Michael Via - Didn't notice big Mike as much as Jaymes, but he's been getting great on-the-job education all season, which is huge for next year.

68. Jaymes Brooks - I saw big 68 pulling a whole lot on Thursday night and it usually resulted in big results for Mr. Wilson, like when he went for 43 to the right after the personal foul. Brooks took out two guys to make that happen. I like him playing angry.

72. Andrew Lanier - Noticed a few nice blocks, including opening up a monster lane for Ogelsby on the first touchdown drive. He was real solid.

74. Andrew Miller - Very happy this guy is only a sophomore. He's good.

75. Greg Nosal - Greg's fingertip was whoofing down a bacon double cheeseburger, a chili dog and onion rings and watching the game from The Varsity while Greg mowed down Yellow Jacket defenders. Both Greg and his fingertip had heartburn, but should be ready for UNC.

81. Jarrett Boykin - He's just a beast. Two monster catches.

86. Eric Martin - He got busy in the running game.

89. Cody Journell - It wasn't a long distance, but neither was Boise's attempt on Saturday night. Way to make the big kick, Cody.

98. Derrick Hopkins - Man, that false start penalty on their opening drive was like vinegar in a cut. But, Hopkins once again strong. He and JR Collins are a huge reason Tech won this game.

99. James Gayle - These kinds of games have to annoy the hell out of a guy like Gayle, who I think dreams about sacks every night. Gayle indeed recorded a sack, but it was a long and bumpy journey. I have a feeling he's going to tee off on Thursday night.
