Korren Kirven Commits to Alabama

Kirven picked Alabama over Virginia Tech and Tennessee. The Hokies had recruited Kirven from the very beginning. It definitely hurts when an elite defensive lineman goes out of state, but it's hard for any school to go head-to-head with Alabama and Saban. The big picture is we have a lot of young experienced depth along the d-line, so while it is a miss, it is not a devastating one.

Nice write up Staff #

Agree wholeheatedly. It stings to lose a guy in-state and since the staff invested so much time into him but we have a solid defensive line now and we can fill that position in the future. It would've been nice to get him but that's life- kid made the decision that WAS BEST FOR HIM. However, here's to Nigel Williams, a fellow Benedictine alumnus, dominating fools in the ACC and hopefully OOC as well!
