Sarcasm in the opening line?
"Duke was ABLE to OVERCOME the 4-point VT lead..."
Made me laugh derisively.
CT gallery has some intense inflatable hokiebird action
It was my favorite photo of the night. Also this was probably my last game photographing in Cassell. It was a good run.

Off topic question(s), what are you shooting with? Great shots!
The both of us had:
a Canon 1DX with a 70-200, a 1DmkIV with a 70-200, and a 1DmkIII with some kind of wide angle (16-35 maybe, I wasn't driving that one.)
Sweet man. Those are some expensive set ups. Thanks! Great shots.
Good News Guys...
...Only:
33 Days until Spring Practice Starts
and
57 Days until the Spring Game
Coach K
He kicked an assistant coach tonight when Erick Green got an and one. Duke was up by 20...and he KICKED ANOTHER MAN. Holy crap.

As soon as I saw it upside down, I thought, well that looks exactly like the way the team is playing. 5 moregames for green to tough it out then on to next year where once again this team will be mostly shooting guards and power forward sized big men. At least the wrestling team knows how to win in cassell. Tomorrow is the first televised womens game so as always attendance will be rocking in the 200s, followed by Sunday's doubleheader.
Thank you warthog for the spring game countdown, much needed with how bad this basketball season has been.
This summary was so much better than my recaps.
We're really bad. That's basically it. Oh and they shot over 60% better from three. Bright spots were Raines and Barksdale, really hope they keep stepping up.
i remember when we used to compete and even beat better Duke teams then this years. Sigh...
Barksdale
Can't say CJ wasn't clutch tonight, really excited to see how he progresses.
We suck
1 for 16 on 3's?? That's just awful. If we shot the same pct as Duke it would've been 10 or 11 more 3's.....do the math.
Is it football season yet??
The one thing this program needs more than anything else ...
.... is better shooters. They only give you points for doing one thing in this game, and we simply don't do it well enough.
When our team, most notably Jarrell Eddie and Robert Brown, was hitting a high % of their open looks at the start of the season, we were winning. Hell, we beat the #15 team in the country and looked good doing it.
But when Eddie and Brown suddenly and inexplicably went ice cold from the floor, the season went into a tailspin. I've never in my entire life seen two players go so suddenly and so totally in the tank as those two. Eddie has shown flashes here and there since then of wanting to break out of his shooting slump, but Brown's confidence is totally shot. To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me at all if neither one is starting next season.
Our program simply needs better players. Right now, aside from Erick Green, we don't have anyone on the roster who would be a sure-fire starter for any other program in the ACC.
I saw that picture, and this is the first thing that comes to mind:
