Hammerin Hokies open season with two wins over Charlotte

Hokies Friday night won 10-0 behind the debut of Brett Renfrow, who threw five innings of one hit ball.

Hokies got three homeruns on the day from Henry Cooke, Carson Demartini, and Christian Martin.

Hokies won yesterday 10-5 led by spectacular hitting from Chris Cannizzaro.
He went 4 for 4 on the day with two homeruns. He also eclipsed the 200 hit mark as a college athlete between Bucknell and Virginia Tech. Gehrig Ebel also homered for the Hokies

Wyatt Parliament threw four scoreless inning to start the game but ran into trouble in the fifth.

Hokies go for the sweep at 1pm in Charlotte.
