Minnesota and Maryland going to OT right now.
Game tied with 15 seconds to go, MD has the ball at the MN 45 yard line with one timeout left and Locksley decides to go to overtime instead of running another play in regulation. Another graduate of the Mike London School of Clock Management.

Minnesota is the best 0-2 team in the country
By exclusion, yes, considering there are no other FBS teams that are exactly 0-2 in the country right now....
For real though, ehhh in my eyes that was a fun game between two really bad teams. Don't forget Maryland got blasted by 40 against NW last week and Minny's meltdown v Harbaugh
Maryland wins on a missed xp. Locklesy just got himself a luckily BIG win. Meanwhile Row the boat has lost 2 now.
Thank goodness Minnesota was ranked before the Big 10 kicked off their season and other teams had played 5 games.
Otherwise they might be in real trouble.
It's amazing how programs can keep their identity between multiple coaches. Minnesota's 4th quarter choking has been a thing for like 6 HCs now.
... Is it amazing though? Lol
Do you guys think the Clemson game will get a little competitive?
I'm guessing for a little bit early on before they pull away.
I hope Clemson proves they can win big without Lawrence. Mostly because I took the over before his diagnosis came out ๐
Seeing all those fans at the Clemson game makes me pumped for college football as a whole, but I hate to see Lane Stadium so empty for our first two games and so many local businesses struggling! I'd drive across the country just to be in Lane in a couple weeks!
My favorite part of the Clemson game is hearing the announcers trying to say Uiagalelei. (ooh-ee-AHN-guh-luh-lay) or can be pronounced Keh-Vin.
Because I started reading this thread when I am tired, your pronunciation of Clemson's back up quarterback got the Witch Doctor song in my head. The first two syllables you put in made my mind go " Oooh Eeee Oooh Ahh Ahh..... ting tang walla walla bing bang"
BC defensive line is killing Clemson right now
BC playing like a bunch of dudes right now
Edit: 99 yard fumble recovery td for the eagles ๐
Clemson playing like a bunch of pussycats right now
Really like that coaching staff up there.
Going to follow this up, excellent design on that field goal fake to draw Clemson off.
Aye, c'mon BC!!
This is making me feel a lot better about us blowing out BC. That team is smacking Clemson in the mouth in Death Valley
it makes me grateful for all those turnovers BC gave us!
And it makes me even more pissed off about last week.
I mean I am sure BC feels the same way about their game vs us. They were moving the ball really well and then just kept feeding us turnovers.
If BC can keep up that pace (nearly 8 minute drive at the end of the 2nd), Clemson May not even get enough possessions to come back in this one
BC is putting the hurt on Clemson.
If they win, 2020 strikes again
Given what has happened to some of the wilder Big 10 games (Penn State, Minnesota, etc.) and Clemson getting worked for a half without Trevor Lawrence, can we maybe come together and say this is a stupid year to draw conclusions from, and we should just try to enjoy the good performances when they happen?
Nope, I need 1000 more posts about how Tech is the only program uniquely afflicted by weird, flat games and how it means we will go 0-12 for the rest of time.
/s
Clemson gonna cost us our share of the championship monies, maybe they really are nothing without sunshine?
Iowa State goes up 27-7 and finally seems like they are going to put Kansas away. Subsequent kickoff:
Kansas returner: catches about 5 yards deep in the endzone.
Kansas returner: brings it out.
Me: "what an idiot."
Kansas returner: completes the 100 yard touchdown return.
Me: ?!?!?!?!?!
Me thinking about tonight. Can I see Penn State 0-2? Oh please, please, please, please ...
MSU hanging with Michigan, does this mean Rutgers is the best?
Bet Dabo is feeling good about wasting 2 timeouts on a missed extra point.
Took Clemson over at 60.5. 32-28 with 11 minutes left. I'm sure that will end up being the final score. FML.
You just got lucky!
What a way to hit the over.
I LOVE EVERYONE IN THIS BAR!!!!!!
#7 for MSU is going off today, some damn fine catches
Watching the game, UMs DBs do a lot of grabbing and the refs have been calling it close. They also have a fairly inexperience corner that has gotten picked on all afternoon.
Yeah it looks like Narduzzi is coaching Michigan.
But #7 has been fantastic.
I love that either Indiana or Rutgers will be 2-0 in conference play.
Put the crazy in my veins 2020
I sure am glad the announcers have reminded me 362 times that Clemson is the #1 team in the country because I keep forgetting.
Boston College back up QB just came in cold on 4th and 3 against Clemson with 3 minutes left and threw a lazer for the first down.
Why can't we do that?
We did, in 2010 LT came in for Tyrod, completed a laser pass on something like 3rd and 15, then Tyrod came right back in to win the game.
Jurkovec came back in and threw a couple wild ones on 3rd and 4th down. Don't think BC has a chance now.
I was there. It was awesome.
Jim Harbaugh...continually finding ways to do less with more.
Its so odd too, he did well at Stanford, he went to a superbowl, he can coach.
But he has not been able to put anything together at Michigan outside of the one year.
Lowered expectations, transcendent QB, etc etc....
You just hate to see it
That 4th down throw by Jurkovec reminded me of the throw from "Not Another Teen Movie" where the announcer says something along the lines of "that's gotta be the worst fucking throw I've ever seen."
Jurkovic has looked brain dead all half unfortunately he looked lost out there.
HAHA WISCONSIN CANCELLED AGAINST SOMEONE ELSE THIS TIME!!
HAHAHA WISCONSIN CANCELLED AGAINST PURDONT TOO!! HAHAH

Georgia Tech wearing home blues is throwing me off.
Can't decide if I should be rooting for UNC or UVA. On one hand, UNC losing helps our (small) chances at the ACCCG, but on the other hand.. Fuck UVA.
I can root for UNC to lose the rest of the year, but today is the only day I can root for UVA to lose to UNC.
Damn. LSU got jacked up. Guess Auburn's prized QB recruit might think about jumping ship and going to the bayou?
And Guz pulls out his one major upset of the year to keep his job.
One of the ever constants in a shitty 2020, michigan loses a sitter and auburn upsets someone they shouldn't
Don't underestimate how bad LSU is this year. Auburn isn't good, but LSU is much less not good too.
A few questions:
Is it really an upset if the team that loses is awful?
Is it really an upset if the favorite wins?
Just saw a highlight where Khalil Ladler (transferred to LA Tech) took a lateral right after an INT and ran it for a score. The player who got the INT was in the process of getting tackled, and Ladler was visibly asking for the lateral to extend the play. Heady move.
Gotta pull out all the stops
Just give it to em that's a raw deal to lose that play.
This.
This was Duke Miami level nonsense, just give it to them. Heck the Stanford band was on the field after the ball was lateraled forward, if that was fine this was fine.
Still woulda lost.
And like clockwork gundy and ok state get hyped and lose to an overhyped texas, the big 12 eats its own again!
VT: win
Iowa State: win
Penn State: getting their ass kicked
In Virginia can just lose it will be a truly great day.
Ryan Day just got tricked, Penn State got treated.
Yes, officials claim that there is 1 second left on the clock when OSU snaps the ball on 4th down and then takes a knee when the clock does not start. Typical BS in favor of Penn State. Lord I despise Penn State.
Complete nonsense. The play took more than one second. Hope OSU piles on hard the second half.
Ex-VT kicker Jordan Stout nailed that long field goal.
UNC looking like crap against LOLUVA.
Unstoppable world beaters vs Tech, JV squad vs UVA and FSU. How? How how howwww?
I still think if we played that game again we win. What killed us was the 21 point hole we got in after refusing to give the best players the ball on offense.
I think if we play that game again we win because our defense is playing better.
Is it? It got run over by Wake Forest last week and gave up two 80+ yard TDs today.
They gave up 23 to Wake a team averaging over 35.
And 3 4th down conversions on one drive. People love making excuses for this team.
This right here. That 8 minute drive killed the game for us. Mentally, just destroyed our defense. Then Hooker followed it up with a pick before the half. Our heads were not in that game for whatever reason.
Facts aren't excuses. Defense didn't lose the Wake game.
They are obviously playing better than they were two weeks ago. Good? Not exactly but better, yess..
Oh my goodness that catch by PSU for the TD was absurd
My wife is a huge Buckeye fan. I rarely Cheer for OSU, but I've been pulling for them this week.
We both celebrated that catch.
So nice.
That loss to Wake will haunt us.
Herbie and Fowler giving Bud some love on the OSU-PSU broadcast.
Heard it on TV over the laptop broadcast of UNC/LOLUVA. What did he say? I didn't catch all of it but I did hear Bud Fosters name being invoked.
Penn State's DC considered himself "a bud foster kind of guy" or something like that. Then they went on about what that means and wishing Bud a happy retirement.
๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Not sure what he said either, but the Penn St Defensive Coordinator is from VA and was a grad assistant under Foster in the 90's
Just baffling that unc can't figure out how to beat uva. Lol
It's gonna kill their recruiting! /s
Mike Leach and the Air Raid looking unstoppable in the SEC so far.
Etienne has 6 yards on 9 carries dang
It's truly my luck with sports that Clemson would lose on the day we lose to Liberty.
