Besides the large number of games cancelled and postponed we have already had some great football this week and looking at some more the next three days.

PSU and Nebraska for their 1st BIG win
Arkansas and UF
USC and Arizona (maybe)
Wisconsin and Michigan
Northwestern and Purdue (maybe for a spot in BIG championship)
So we have 23 games cancelled outright or postponed originally scheduled for this weekend.

This Boise Game and Colorado state game is already nuts. Blocked punt for TD for Boise. Then Boise holds them to another punt Boise draws up punt return throwback to another return man who ran it back to 15 yard line where he promptly fumbles the ball back to Colorado State.
That's awesome. Three drives and Boise state has yet to snap the ball

Wow, Cincinnati put all their third string in to finish the game with a run it out and the senior running back with one prior carry in the season goes 75 yards untouched to the end zone. Gotta love the senior getting that moment.
Wow the head coaches conversation at the end of that game was the most competitive part of the entire game. Thought they might get physical for a moment.

It was the game from last weekend apparently. ESPN looped it in right after the Cincinnati game. Still was better football watching Oregon on replay then the Hokies live and that poor kicker. I was past the point of comprehension anyway, was a REALLY long week of kids at "casa escuela peterson"
Marshall plays today on the 50th anniversary of the plane crash. They are undefeated and ranked 16th in the AP poll. For whatever reason, Gameday is at the Masters instead of Huntington.
Of the 75 people who passed away in the plane crash, two were Hokies. Rick Tolley was the head coach and Frank Loria the defensive backs coach. Marshall had pole banners created for each of the 75 victims, and they're all placed on different light poles throughout campus. Tolley and Loria are on the same one. Not sure if it was just a coincidence or someone has spectacular attention to detail. Pretty cool either way.
Definitely should've been in Huntington this weekend.

I think the ACC is being steadily exposed for being just as bad/mediocre as the last few years. None of these teams are good outside of Clemson or Notre Dame, and UNC has a really good QB, but that's about it.
Sam Howell is as real deal a QB as we have in college football right now. I hope even the biggest VT homer isn't still pretending like Hooker is better than him.

You'd need some serious hill billy shine to think hooker stands anywhere near Howell. Today was a perfect example of how hooker struggles when Howell shines instead.
I mean I like Hooker as much as the next guy, but yeah ... Hooker would be a top 25 QB based off QB rating if he had enough passes, but there is a large jump from where Hooker is to the level of Justin Fields, Trevor Lawrence, Sam Howells for the world.

If you had to live in South Jersey, work in PA (when in the office) and had to spend several years working in the same lab as the ultimate brown-nosing sleaze-ball fellow grad student that was in my lab when I was in grad school - she was a huge PSU fan - you would understand. Definitely would not wish that on others.
So there aren't really any fun games on today the uva game has been a snooze fest and looking at the late slate I don't see anything exciting.
