Melvin Keihn's interest section of his 247 profile has been updated. Penn State, UVA and Miami are no longer listed as "warm" and looks like it'll be a 2 team race between VT and Maryland. He's set to announce during the January 2nd AA game.
Raymon Minor picked up another star recently. (He used to be a 3 star in either the 247 rankings or the composite rankings, but now he's a 4 star on both so one of the services bumped him up.) Nebraska seems to be pushing hard for him. He just visited them not even a month ago, and they had a coach visit him just the other day too. No commitment date has been set for Minor.

I feel pretty good about Raymon being a Hokie. Don't see him going all the way to Nebraska when Tech wants him a lot.
Side note: Minor is a two-way athlete at Benedictine in basketball and football. I played against him in bball when he was just an 8th-grader and he dropped over 20 on all high-schoolers. I sure hope he pulls a Bryan Randall/Jeff King if he comes to VT.
I'd love to get both of these guys and still be able to squeeze in Jay Payton. If we see Keihn as a DE (which is likely), then it's possible.
Its a good thing that Nebraska has been having a sub-par season. Ive heard tat fans are getting tired of Pelini. I sure hope our coaches remind him that we went 2-0 agaisnt those huskers.

Imagine a defense with Keihn and Minor at Lb, Walker and Nnandi at Dt and Ke Fuller and Facyson at Cb in a couple years if we get all of those recruits and everyone continues to develop
Keihn tweeted he'll be deciding next Tuesday or Wednesday between VT, UVA and MD. I wonder if he realizes Wednesday is Christmas.
Could be a nice present for the Hokie Nation if he comes.
I have got a good feeling about Keihn, he has been tweeting current players and current commits alot here lately.
Agreed, and it would be a nice victory over UVA to land Keihn. He was a big UVA lean early on, his former teammate, Darius Jennings from Gilman, had recruited him hard.
And frankly Keihn probably fits better as an OLB in a 3-4 anyway.

Not so sure about Minor. I graduated from Benedictine and still talk to some people close to the school, Minor still seems pretty undecided to them.
