Some high profile matchups this week in basketball.

#19 UNC about to tip off against UNLV, while not the matchup of old will be a good one on Monday night.

Tuesday though is the big night this week:

#17 Texas takes on Indiana

LolUVA takes on St Francis(PA)....normally you would just skip over this one but St Francis just beat Pitt by 10 and we all know what those Wahoos did

VMI plays Longwood on ESPN+ if you want to get an idea of who the Keydets have before Thursdays game with the Hokies.

#6 Duke vs #8 Michigan State

#7 Kansas vs #20 Kentucky, both of whom will be hungry after early season losses.

Wednesday brings

3-0 Army vs Florida

#11 WVU vs #1 Gonzaga

#2 Baylor vs #5 Illinois

Thursday we are busy but not missing out on much, pretty light schedule

Saturday

#1 Gonzaga vs #2 Baylor

Sunday

#12 Villanova vs #17 Texas

I think we should end the season now and remain in the sweet 16, it will definitely help with recruiticorning

Thanks for providing a succinct weekly outlook. It's good to have bball back after missing out on the annual March madness vacation last spring. It's all that much better with the Hokies off to a hot start with a fun team!

Not a major game at all last night, but I did pay some attention to USF who beat FGCU by 19. It just added a minor confidence boost that we took care of business against a team who does the same for games they should win.

If you have access to Big Ten Network, Penn State plays Seton Hall Sunday at 8pm. Tech plays Penn State on Tuesday.

Wow, if GT kicks the crap out of Kentucky, (Currently 72-55 with 4 mins left) they will have lost to the team that just lost to Mercer and Georgia State. Not that surprised about Texas losing, they have had several close games.

Duke has canceled all non conference games remaining today. Alabama coach says he thinks it's due to them losing twice already not covid.

Sure but I think its being used as an excuse more than anything and most teams couldnt do that without seriously damaging their postseason chances but a place like duke will get in just because of the name. Maybe theyre having covid issues and arent saying anything but this feels weak.
