2010 ACC Title Game was 10-years ago today.

First team to go 9-0 in Conference Play. What a roster, and that wasn't even Foster's best by any stretch!

The sooner we get back to this form, the better. That team should address every Hokies roster, in August. Great memories, and great resilience.

That game was fun.

There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city.

Sure was! First ACC Championship played in Charlotte, IIRC.

and cold

I was there, same end zone where Tyrod strutted in to see the game. My biggest memory is shrieking when Coale was running wide open on the deep cross and Tyrod was scrambling instead of throwing. I swear Coale was open for 30 minutes.

That defense was so so so so bad against the run. The whole season, Bud's front would get gashed. But every ACC OC seemed to be determined that he was going to try and throw the ball, and so many of those throws turned into turnovers. NC State and Miami in particular were gashing the Hokies running the ball, and their OC's decided to be smart and try to throw. It got the Hokies (and in NC State's case, a healthy dose of Darren Evans helped) back in the game.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

Was there also with an FSU die hard. He looked at me after and said "is he always open?"

Yes

And he always catches the ball!

ALWAYS.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

Hosley was so clutch and opportunistic (9 Interceptions!) in 2010.

I was glad my G-Men grabbed him

Hard to believe this was Kyle Fuller's freshman year. I was in DC for the opening game vs Boise St. Even with the terrible start to the game we should've won, I remember a terrible call at the end of the game. Then the next game happened, and had we beat Boise I have no doubt it wouldn't have been a loss. Throw those 2 out and we were undefeated that year. Crazy how far we've come /s.

Tyrod did it Mikey, Tyrod did it!!

That was actually my last in person game, oldest was - 5 days at that point. Watch the JMU debacle from the hospital while holding him..

I did not appreciate the WVU fan/heckler on the party deck, getting in my face the whole game. He's lucky I know how to be disciplined.

That's was a long walk back to the Metro.

I was there. What a great memory. I remember right when we won the people in the endzone I was sitting in were throwing oranges on the field to celebrate the anticipated orange bowl invitation... They came dangerously close to hitting florida state players running off the field

Tailgated next to Mama and Papa Fuller for that game. That was when I found out there was a fourth Fuller brother who was better coming out of high school than the other 3. Definitely mind blowing to my drunk self.

Also lost my ticket on the walk to the stadium. Luckily managed to back track about 50 yards or so and find it lying on the sidewalk. Ended up missing the first 5 minutes of the game.

Wow, I've never been so drunk before that I lost my ticket (at least not during a game) ! Did meet Brandon Flower's parents after a game once and had to give mama a big hug.

I asked my now wife out after that game

Onward and upward

Dude, that's one epic Hokie story

Man was it cold, sleeting and raining that night. I remember Tyrod had just been announced ACC player of the year and then followed it up with a strong game. Their QB was ruled out either game day or a few days prior. Hard to believe we haven't been as relevant since.

Yep, that was EJ Manual's first start if I'm not mistaken

2011 was a pretty darn good year.

Tyrod did it Mikey, Tyrod did it!!

True, 2011 was good, but a step down from 2010. Probably a bigger drop-off post-2011. Makes me wonder what could have been had Bud took over as HC in 2012 with a big-time OC.

May have been the coldest day on record for Charlotte. And sitting near the top row of the upper deck, I felt like I was watching it from a blimp. Overall, had an amazing time. Feels a lot longer than 10yrs ago.

Yep one FSU student asked "is this snow"? when it started sleeting.

I chirped an asshole FSU fan pretty hard after Tyrod connected with Coale on that throw down the sideline. He had been up my ass all game with "dog fighting" comments. I swear, I don't venture out looking for kerfuffles, but they seem to find me somehow.

The 2016 ACC Championship Game was 4 years ago today. I know we didn't win that one but man that was an awesome game to see live. We were surrounded by Clemson fans and they were scared to death during our final drive.
I don't think tomorrow will be as much fun for us 😳

I don't know what a Hokie is, but God is one of them!

I hope it's a blowout not because of wanting fuente fired (I do) but because I don't wanna go through another heartbreakπŸ˜‚

I was watching from round table pizza in Hawaii.

Protip: it turns out you cant wear your silk robe to the round table

Wow, I have not had roundtable pizza in probably 30 years, did not know they still existed

as of 2012 (the last time I went to Hawaii for work) there are two in wakiki, 1) at the Hilton hawaiian village, and 2) at the other end near the Marriott and other Hilton (formerly the prince Kuhio)

Imagine the 2016 defense with this offense. Or the 2007 defense with this offense.

Even just as simple as wishing we had the 2009 defense with the 2010 offense. Unbelievable that we missed those units by a single season.

Imagine a return to the days when our fan base complained about always going to the Orange Bowl. I miss those days.
