Derrick will visit Ohio State on the weekend of January 17 and will visit Virginia Tech on the weekend of January 24. That schedule looked to give the Hokies an advantage when it comes to recruiting Nnadi, since they'd get the last visit. Now, Derrick has added the UVA Cavaliers to his official visit list, and they're getting a visit on January 31.
"I'm making an official visit to UVA on the 31st," said Nnadi on Saturday night. "I wanted to give them a visit."

Three of those teams have won football national titles (trying not to be negative). I wouldn't understand going to PSU while still under sanctions and bringing in a new coach. But the other big boys OSU and FSU are football elite. If we want to compete with those guys, we need to be winning recruiting battles when in direct competition with them; this would be a big get for Foster's bunch.
I am going to try walking around in some hokie gear on the weekend of the 17th. Maybe it will help

From reading 247, he said he had four schools he definitely wanted to visit and the fifth one didn't really matter to him so he's going to UVA. I'm assuming he wanted to rage face somewhere for a weekend so he just chose Hooville.
It doesn't sound like UVA is a real player.
I would have chosen either Arizona State or Oklahoma State. Ive never seen a hotter campus full of women than ASU and as for OSU, well...
I'll admit that UVA girls are pretty hot as well. I'd take UVA > VT simply because of the 60/40 split (damn our well-respected engineering school!)

If a recruit has to travel a long distance (ie east to west coast) for a recruiting trip, does the school pick up the tab for the plane ticket? if so, i would have picked hawaii for my 5th official
The school picks up the tab for any non-first class airfare on an official visit.
