A Man from Humble Beginnings: Kam Chancellor

I am pretty sure Chancellor's goodwill has been well documented on this site in the past, but this article is a good one from the Seattle Times and talks about both his football prowess and goals of paying back for his mother. Fantastic article.

The kind of guy I thoroughly enjoy cheering for. A true Hokie in every sense of the word.

Man. I like Kam Chancellor even more than I did before. That's such a good story. Pretty good idea to surprise her with a house under the pretext of getting a new car too.

Hokie Nation is a wonderfull place.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

Everybody needs to pay attention to how much fear he puts in hearts,

thats my guy

"That kid you're talking to right there, I think he played his nuts off! And you can quote me on that shit!" -Bud Foster

For every recruit that hears that "VT coaches will change your position at the drop of a hat"....

... that story by Hamza Abdullah should let them know that Foster and Gray know what they're doing.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

Kam was always one of my favorites while he was here. And now he's one of my favorite players in the NFL, though I'm far from a Seahawks fan.

21st century QBs Undefeated vs UVA:
MV7, MV5, LT3, Grant Wells, Braxton Burmeister, Ryan Willis, Josh Jackson, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.

Conveniently for me I am a Seahawks fan. Inconveniently, their games never ever get aired.

Kam and Roc are two peas in a pod. Awesome guys! I'm glad I had the pleasure of watching them both during my years at VT

I used to hear Kam getting flack for busted coverages where it wasn't his fault -usually making up for somebody breaking assignment. Kid was always class and an unsung hero, no matter how many accolades he piles up.

And he'll hit you so hard your friend's chest will cave in.

"...sticks and stones may break my bones but I'm gonna kick you repeatedly in the balls Gardoki!"

This doesn't surprise any of us that went to Maury with him. He was a good dude back then and you could tell he was going to do good things. Glad to say I was able to watch him in high school and college.
