Covid test in our program 😧 hope it's not too serious and they get healthy. Next scheduled game is Feb 20th at FSU. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Feels like we're not gonna play any more games until the ACC tourney
Best case scenario - Hokies return at Florida State next Saturday, following a 2 week delay. Which could be ugly.
Worst case scenario - More postiive tests and we have to shut down for 2 weeks. In which case, we have to play someone coming off of a 3-4 week delay, where they couldn't even practice for much of that. Which could be even uglier.
Worst case scenario. Somebody gets very sick... Praying for a false positive.
Yes of course, obviously I meant schedule-wise. Hopefully no serious symptomatic cases. Wondering if it was a player or staff member
Sort of unrelated but has the ACC said how they are going to determine seeding for the tournament with everyone playing a different number of conference games?
These are still their published rules

Also, for those not aware, the Tournament is in Greensboro, not DC now

Excuse my language, but this really stinks!
If Unc is currently playing a game, how is this possible?
JK IM AN IDIOT
So with UNC's loss to UVA tonight, the FSU and Louisville games are not must wins to get the double bye, if traditional tie-breakers will be utilized.
VT is currently 8-3. Going 3-2 over the Final 5 would make us 11-5, with the best win against common opponents of potential tied teams.
Current 5-conference loss teams are:
#5 UNC (7-5, 5 games remaining, including Louisville, @ Syracuse, and Florida State) - Must win out
#6 Clemson (7-5, VT holds tie-breaker, 5 games remaining, 2 vs Pitt) - Must win out
#7 Syracuse (6-5, holds tie-breaker, 5 games remaining, including @ Louisville, UNC) - Must win out
#8 Pitt (5-5, holds tie-breaker, 6 games remaining, 2 vs Clemson). - Must win out
So only 2 of the 4 teams can finish with 5 losses and if Pitt and Clemson split only the winner of UNC/Syracuse can finish with 5 losses. Has the ACC announced the tie breakers for this year or are they going with the usual ones?
So far they are still using what they have posted. See my comment above.
Not ideal
What's the O/U on how many more games we'll play before the ACC tourney?
What's the O/U that league tourneys are played at all?
I spoke to soon in the other thread...
And I saw your response here after responding to you there.
Yeah, you could tell the order of the posts I made. I still hope this means that Radford will be back with the program when we resume activities.
Dang contact tracing😔
