Well dam
If there was ever a year to play the ACCT in Florida it was this year. I imagine the conference could have relocated similar to what the Big Ten did and made some extra money with 25% occupancy.
They were already dealing with moving it to boot, since it was contracted to be in DC, so of course Tobacco Road won out at the slightest hint of an issue.
Updated state policy allowing some fans.

See I look at 15% capacity and see that allows for player families and coaching staff families to actually attend. That is about it.
Yes, this is how the ACC is handling this. Only the people put on lists for access by the teams will be allowed to attend
so they won't air in 90% of the country. So far the ACCN has been a negative in terms of exposure for the conference. I used to be able to flip through the ESPNs and other sports channels and catch an ACC game most nights, now its mid majors (I had Buffalo vs Toledo on ESPN2 or U a few days ago). Mid majors must be thrilled with all their games getting regional or national coverage now that all the conferences moved to their own networks. ACCN has tripped over itself given that I have SEC and Big10 network forced on me in my TV package, but ACCN nowhere to be found.
I can watch the ACCN, RSN is a far bigger drawback.
You must be in one of the 4 states on the east coast that has ACCN in the package
Meanwhile in Florida I have TWO RSN channels but no ACCN.
The RSN curse has taught me how to use a VPN service, and spoof the location services on my phone. With those two tools, I can figure out how to see just about any ACCNX game, and cast it to my TV.
I agree. It's maddening. I've been able to watch fewer VT basketball games this year than I ever have. It's a joke.
infuriating, and yet entirely predictable
Archaic rules drive me crazy. I have an Xfinity account in Pennsylvania that usually covers the RSN games. But I can't watch because I'm not at home(We are in FL for 6 weeks). I can watch most of the Xfinity channels on my computer; but a few are blocked because I am not on my home wifi system. I'm sure there is some reason; but it is really irritating.
