End thread.
At least two weeks is up right before the tournament?
Can we not vaccinate em
They are vaccinating state employees at this point, players are basically that
Only if you fall into category 1B.
Only need like 15 shots I'm sure they could get em somewhere
Haha just have them wait outside the clinics and get the no-show's shots.
Damn it!
Double bye clinched at least lol. Assuming the State game is cancelled
If they reported this yesterday, then it will be exactly 10 days until the quarterfinals on March 11 which is when we would play again with the double bye.
Time to sacrifice an old cast iron pan to the rust gods. Hopefully we learned something about dealing with a lay-off after the last one.
Fuck
Well...it was a fun season while it lasted, especially the last game
Goddamit!
We finally have a decent shot at Louisville. Maybe in the tourney.
What exactly is contact tracing review? And how long does it take? If no one connected to the program tests positive, are we then in the clear?
Yeah I'd also like a better explanation/clarification
The way I understand VDH guidance/recommendations is that if a person develops symptoms and tests positive for COVID, any person with close contact to the positive person two days prior to the start of the positive persons symptoms is considered exposed.
Someone could develop symptoms on a Friday, get a positive test over the weekend, and contact tracing would go back to the prior Wednesday for the purposes of quarantining.
My question, and I think DisneyHokie's, is what does contact tracing review mean? If it doesn't differ from contact tracing, then why use that language?
I didn't take it as being different.
However, VA did just make permanent certain Covid 19 workplace safety standards and policies have to be updated to match, but I don't know why that would have canceled a game.
UGH!!! Was SOOOOO looking forward to this game. :(
This also sucks because we're probably going to be cold going into the ACC tournament in a year where we have a real shot at it.
what on earth is going on? We've been dealing with this virus for a year now....we should know how to keep this thing under control by now
Can't really go there on this forum but I will note that case load in Montgomery County is currently about 3x higher than the statewide numbers. The situation is not great but I won't get into any of the reasons why so as not to inappropriately derail this thread.
Probably the same reason it's raging in places like Danville and across other southern parts of the state.
Probably not the same reason tho.
So does the contact tracing affect the women's program also? I haven't followed the women as closely but I don't remember the women having a issue.
well... there go may plans for tonight... really curious as to what happened this time and why there weren't lessons learned applied from the last incident(s). This close to the finish line and still having problems with managing this is a concern.
this is essentially a nicer way of saying exactly what I said above
My initial reaction inside my head my reaction was not as polite and was much more expletive-filled.
I know the feeling, I was going to the range with my wife and father-in-law, then we were going to grill up some hamburgers, pop some tops, and watch a streak end.
I don't share the same concern. Speaking from experience, everyone could have religiously followed every available recommendation from the CDC and VDH, apply any lessons learned and they still could run into issues whether it be contact tracing or getting COVID.
Agree. They aren't in a bubble. That doesn't mean it wasn't caused by a stupid action, but doesn't mean it was either.
This so figures, I got my MY Popcorn Bucket on Monday...
Me too, and even though it is just a made-in-China plastic piece, with a CMY caricature decal stuck onto it, I love that little bucket because every time I look at it, it reminds me of how we crushed the 'Hoos.
Exactly! And, I may never nuke the bag of popcorn that came in it, either!
