I enjoyed the fried gator po'boy sammich, at Boudreaux's. especially when the weather was nice, and the rooftop was open. Good times.
Couldn't tell you how much gator tail I prepped and cooked at Boudreaux from '97-'99. Plus we would get a shift beer afterwards. I loved working for the Ames brothers back then.
I probably cooked over 200lb pounds of gator meat while I was working at Boudreux's after a couple years working at Cabo. I concur the Ames brothers are good guys.
In my 5 years at Tech my only trip to Boudreaux's was as a hole on the back nine of golf and by that point I was on my way to wasted. My friends and I were much more of a PK's gang.
I was on the rooftop at least once a week in the summers. It was great.
Swamp people have nothing on Meat Tenderizer!
Gator & Pancakes.
Mmmmmmmm........
Gator Pancakes

Gotta make himself some fancy boots to go with the Yuge contract he is gonna be signing soon...
That is not a light creature he is carrying dead weight.
Ha I figured this would show up on here eventually.
This made me chuckle
Please please please let us make the NCAA tourney and draw Florida in the first round.
We'll get Florida in the national semifinal this upcoming football season.
That works too
Yes, now that you saw this, do we win this game!?
I think we have a better shot than most 10 seeds. Florida is totally beatable, but I worry about parking so few games in the 4 weeks leading up to the tourney.
Ugh... this made the front page of Drudge Report via The Sun. I won't link to it and boost their audience, but Wyatt's gunna get a bit of backlash over this now.
Which, as a born and raised Floridian, I can say is _really_ stupid. Gator population control is important.
Eating gator is like eating chicken. Only vegans have a moral ground to stand on for any backlash and they have bigger fish substitute to fry.
Vegans don't have the moral high ground over omnivores. They are literally stealing the food from the animals to eat. We eat the animals, so what is left has more access to the vegetables.
Someone offended about something someone else is doing in 2021? Shocking...
Wyatt isn't going to care. Good for him. Some people just don't understand the real world. Jeesh, this is so ridiculous and tiresome ad nauseum.
And now they are trying to cancel Wyatt, oh goody

You'll notice there are many articles about the "backlash" but no articles actually calling him out? Finding angry people on Twitter (there's always angry people on Twitter) then writing an article about how people are angry is a common tactic to drum up anger against the "cancelling" and get clicks. It's one of the main click bait strategies for these kinds of outlets. Keep it in mind and you'll see it often.
This post saw the future.
It's science, Hokies beat Gators
