I really wonder what Frank was doing in that picture. Did someone tell him to strike a pose and he's like "let me hit you with my interpretation of the heisman"? Was he kicking a no look field goal? Is that just how he runs? I have questions.

That was another question I had - Did beamer never have a neck? Was that just how football pads were back in the day? Or did someone just hit me with a Frank Beamer deep fake?

I believe that was a standard football pose back in Frank's day. Us finishing 25th only seems fitting.

Looks to me that he was about to put his right foot squarely on the Hoos neck. And given his results against them, we all know he didn't even need to look to do it, as he was accomplishing bigger things

Pretty high considering how we finished out the season, I will take it!

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"
