Fun side story that's surprisingly relevant to a phone drinking:
In the 2009 football game where we obliterated Miami in the pouring rain, there was a guy in front of me in the stands that was so wasted that he was using his flip phone to stir whiskeys into his Cokes throughout the game.
I think it had to be one of those waterproof, rugged phones because it was still working at the end of the game.

I worked at Verizon at the time. I lost count at the number of people that came into the store the next day because their phones got fried at the game
Both my mother and I were victims because she thought she had a waterproof pocket...definitely saw you then haha.
My trick is put phone in a ziplock bag for those rain games.
