Hokies Softball Vs Notre Dame

Today is the last game of the series with Notre Dame looking for the sweep... Yes you read that correctly.

VT has left 23 runners in scoring position through three games.

VT has 7 errors (4 at the SS position with Slaw or Fagan returning from injury - I can't remember) through three games. It was a bit of a head scratcher D'amour left her in for three games while she was clearly struggling.

VT has gotten absolutely worked at the plate by the Notre Dame pitchers. They scouted the Hokies perfectly working the corners (getting the VT hitters leaning) and using the changeup beautifully.

I also must give credit where credit is due, the ND infield has been fantastic, especially the SS.

Hopefully the Lady Hokies can get things going enough today for a win!
