6:00 pm UNC game is gonna be nuts! I hope we come out strong. After not tailgating last season I suspect the Fightin' Hokies Lager is gonna hit me quickly in the September heat!
The WVU time is a bit disappointing. As an old rivalry game I was hoping for at least a 3:00 game.
A year with no tailgating, no going out, no concerts, etc., and they give us the whole damned day to tailgate right out of the gate? Are they trying to kill us?
Damn I love late afternoon/early evening games, so much better than the late night ones that us old farts have trouble staying up late to finish.
Looks like the UNC game is starting earlier at 6pm so that ESPN can do a double header that night with Michigan State vs. Northwestern starting at 9pm.
And to expand on the times with the networks:
Sept 3 - UNC - 6:00pm // ESPN
Sept 11 - Middle Tennessee St - 2:00pm // ACCNX (streaming)
Sept 18 - @ WVU - Noon // FS1
Nov 5 - BC - 7:30pm // ESPN2
Wonder if WVU is involved with the big noon kickoff
The earlier we start the less couches get murdered?
Win, and we save the couches from the cousins.
No, because FOX has Oklahoma/Nebraska in that time slot.
Has anyone seen updated projections for Lane capacity? If I remember correctly the latest emails I got when picking seats were hopeful, but did not indicate anything definite.
Whit said they were anticipating a full stadium but added the qualifier that they would follow all local, state, and federal health regulations. With Virginia dropping all capacity restrictions today, we might hear an update but I would put money on everything being 100% come September.
Fantastic! I'm ready to start jumping!
Wife is due with Baby Soup #2 the following week.... I'm tempted to try to get tickets as this may be my only and last hoorrah for home games this season... I'll have to drink enough to account for all 7 home games.
Let's GO!
