I went to look over private school schedules (which are a lot harder to get this time of year as many games are not set yet) but where did this Life Christian Academy in Chester come from? They have multiple top 25 players in the state recently. I can't recall them during my years growing up or playing football in Richmond area.
It's a private school startup that at one point was in an old strip mall, they practice at Falling Creek middle near my work. The coach got stabbed last year.
The kids that get cut at LC Byrd or Dale also have been ending up there.
There website claims they have been around since the late 80's. Weird.

Sounds like they are trying to create a football friendly place for the kids to get exposure and a better school sport balance for them.

Their HC used to run a premier youth travel team (Hurricanes/DreamKillaz) based out of Richmond, VA. He got with LIfe Christian Academy to provide online academics and he has been recruiting players from all over the state. They play a national schedule and his connections have certainly got the kids on his teams exposure. Most Richmond area coaches aren't feeling him as he's openly recruited most of the best players in that area code. You can find a number of their games on YouTube. Def a coach our staff should stay tight with as their roster is littered with current and future P5 commits. 12 guys on their roster have P5 offers. 2022 DT D'Andre Martin was most recent player we've offered from there, he transferred from Durham, NC Hillside HS and recently picked up offers from USCe and FSU.
Giles is now a 1A school but for some reason they still playing in the three river district this year

They should be really good with Holloway, OL Mason, the stud 2024 WR, and then they got ATH Naquari Rogers back from Life Christian. With 5 FBS kids leading the way, Stallions have their best team in recent memory and should easily be the favorite in region 5A.

When will schedules be released?
Different schools have been releasing them at various points. Most have full schedules, but some of them still have to fill one or two games.
Riverheads and Stuart's Draft can't find anyone to play them out if district so they need to play each other twice.
Riverheads has had this problem for quite sometime. Local schools (in the Valley) can't compete. 3A schools taking a loss to 1A schools is terrible for their ranking. In the last few years, we've beat Skyline, Tazewell, Glenvar and Colonial something or other, all much bigger schools I believe.
Lord Boutetourt took a game this year. Probably out of RHS league but it will be fun trying.
Looks like VHSL released a master schedule for fall 2021 last Thursday.
