Amare Barno made the first team and Chamarri Conner made the second team. Love to see the guys getting some recognition after the defensive performance last year.

Armani Chatman also had a hell of a game. More than a few defensive players deserving of recognition.
The 3 corners were a combined 5-12 against with a pick.
My money is on AC rockin the 25 this week. Kid was e'rywhur
The 25 isn't based on how one played the previous week.
It's not "supposed" to... But we now have 3 years of data points where usually one of the players that has a good game will get the 25 the following week, as long as they also play on ST.
I loved the way Tech used Barno. Put your best athlete in position to make plays.
In my dumb eye, Hamilton looked like foster vs GT in '13 or whenever he let fuller go wild, or '14 against OSU.
He had a specific scheme that drove unc mad all game
We transitioned from odd to even fronts so cleanly, UNC's line couldn't get a bead on pressure.
Yeah Barno looked more ADiBi than DE (ha ha, I humor myself...)
He was up a lot when I was watching the DL....kept seeing him a step back after the snap at times.
I'm stoked to see French's explanation.
Love it. Don't apologize for it, embrace it.
Anytime Barno was not Spying Howell, he would take off and run, i can see us using a similar tactic against Miami unless they use Tisdale for that..
"more ADiBi than DE"
That is an all time dad pun, well done
I absolutely loved it. The second Howell stepped out of the pocket Barno was there. I think one of Howell's strengths is his ability to create off schedule plays by moving around and Barno completely took that away. I really think he was in Howell's head from the drop basically.
My only gripe with Barno's game was his tackling form, he needs to wrap up better and bring the QB down more consistently. He does that and he should be figuring out what suit he plans to wear on draft day.
Someone noticed that tech saw a weakness in one of UNC lineman so they switched barno to that lineman and he dominated him
I've seen this claim made a couple of times, but I was rewatching the game today and it looked to me like Barno was lined up into the boundary on nearly every snap he played, which meant he was swapping from left to right. Perhaps I was mistaken.
