Really excited to see the defense continue to grow and gain confidence. I'd love to see them continue to be fundamentally sound and very physical.
I'm also excited to see BB3 progress some today along with the offense as a whole.
In the end, I'd love for us to put a game away early and play some of the young bucks.

I just don't think this offense utilizes the middle of the field. Even with Evans we rarely threw any deep or intermediate routes to the middle. Our most effective vertical pass is a fade.
Burmeister warming up on the sidelines is a great sign.

I get it when you are playing UNC and you want to keep their offense off of the field, but this is MTSU---and they are missing 2 Starting DBs.
It would seem to make basic sense that playing a lower level team, thinner than they even would be, you add some Tempo to wear them out and break their resolve.
I hope we have all the motivation we need against these guys now. Let's go BB

I really wish I could see the whole field, because I can't for the life of me understand why we are constantly throwing passes five yards or shorter when their DB's are crowding the LOS at the snap. I know that is our MO, but even a mid major team can defend a team that refuses to make adjustments.
Same thing goes for the D. We constantly gave a 10 yd cushion so the QB continuously took the free 5-10 yds.
Now our offensive play calling would likely work wonders against our D play calling, but unfortunately that's not how the game is played.
Seems like this has been the case since halftime of the UNC game, at least as far as the offense is concerned. Very frustrating.

Hopefully we just needed a half to tune up the offense, but honestly the real difference was play calling I feel. We stopped playing scared and suddenly the points were there.
I think BB was playing really tight in the first half. I also wonder is his throwing shoulder wasn't 100% as he seemed to try to loosen it up every time he went on the field to start a series.
he was doing those shoulder flexes and windmills frequently last week as well
Ironically, it was in the 2nd half when BB started actually airing it out.

As we enter garbage time I'm very concerned with our ability to get WR open or throw at contested targets whatever it may be. BB the far too many balls away against a team of this caliber.
And this is the best Fuente has felt about the throwing game since he's been here 🤷♂️
Yeah I mean BB has made some pretty looking hash to hash throws....has also missed some dump offs. Not sure if we're doing our awful route trees that just pull every defender to the same area or what but we can't seem to get open.

Yeah, there are lots of concerns in the Passing Game.
-Receivers not consistently creating separation
-BB not appearing to see the field well
-Lack of any substantive underneath/over-the-middle routes
Yeah. Unfortunately, our system relies on scheming one guy open and our players haven't learned how to fight through to get separation.
We are too cute with Mitchell and Turner, IMO. These guys should be able to create their own shot.
