Did I miss something in the off season or is there a reason why the jumbotron is showing a very small fraction of the replays that it's shown since I can remember? We got maybe a half dozen for both the UNC & MTSU games and none of the ones where controversial flags were thrown. It seems like they just want to do shots of the fans which is great...but after the replay is done.

I get the feeling that they only show positive plays for the Hokies. Anything that could go against us it seems they don't even show. I feel like they didn't show the Tayvion TD catch in the UNC game but they showed the interceptions that were reviewed.
Just my two pennies
It's just frustrating. There was no replay shown of the BB3 hit so when the refs came back and said no targeting the entire stadium lost its collective shit because all we had to go off of was BB3 getting pummeled and then laying on the ground for 5 minutes.
Oh man I'll have to ask my dad about this one. Number one pet peeve of his and I won't be there until ND.
I am not sure if it was a Tech decision, it is more likely a conference decision. But I agree not being able to see the views that the ref's are looking at during the review is maddening.
Haven't some professional leagues implemented a banning of showing controversial replays to try and protect the refs in house? I feel like that happened with the NFL at some point over the last few years.
I can sort of understand that, but they're just flat out not showing any sort of meaningful replays at all.
That said, I'd like to know the statistics on refs being threatened by fans either after the game or at home.
