Home Team Grill is the best sports bar in Richmond. There's usually a lot of Hokies that show up on gamedays and they have a garage door which allows for both indoor and outdoor seating. One time a bunch of WVU fans were there for a game that was ending before a Tech game so there will probably be a bunch from both sides there.

went to Wood and Iron in Scott's Addition for the UNC game and liked it; alot of VT fans. Outdoor tables have tvs right there. Tons of TVs inside and the food and drinks are better than standard bar food. it's also near good breweries for after, so I would recommend it

I will confirm home team is always fun. The alumni group is doing their watch parties at hardywood now so you can stock up on Fightin' Hokies Lager. Pretty much anywhere with the game on will lean VT so no matter what you should be able to enjoy.

For sure west creek. I read something that said both, but hardywood only advertises it at west creek. Hopefully someone more involved in the association can help out, because I'm curious as well.

Here to confirm Home Team and Wood and Iron are the best spots to watch games. That being said, if you are going to a Hokies game that is being broadcast on ACCN Extra do not expect Wood and Iron to have it on every tv. They were eventually able to get the MTSU game on one TV but it was a pain and they don't seem to be set up to show anything that is not on cable

Also, I would recommend getting to both bars as early as possible before the games. Both Home Team and Wood and Iron fill up well before kickoff. Wood and Iron is mostly due to brunch, Home Team is due to the strong fan bases in the area. In addition, Home Team will not usually seat you unless you have a full party so make sure that you come with a full party. No matter which bar you go to the atmosphere is great, just make sure to take these things into consideration when planning to spend the game there

if either wood and iron or home team aren't viable, Gus's and Buddy's are two solid spots that are smaller (non-VT specific) sports bars that have good wings and quality beer options that you'd definitely be able to watch the game at.

I am planning on being at the Iron and Wood in Midlothian tomorrow.
If it's a good outcome you need to celebrate with a sundae from brusters across the street

West Creek got more outdoor space. Better for outdoor gatherings
Do they play the game outside
It doesn't look like it. If you have Instagram, the Richmond Hokie club does a good job sharing details.

Both. Called city location yesterday. They have a smaller room which I was told gets packed.
Home team is the move just hard to find a table if you don't get there early
Hometeam and Wood and Iron

I heard Home Team Grill is the place to go.
