One of the high points for me, which I'm sure plenty will debate was this statement:
Now some Virginia Tech faithful I believe its a very small minority say Beamers age (67) and the teams recent struggles dictate a change. After all, they point out, the Hokies havent won the ACC since gasp! 2010 and havent been ranked in the final top 10 since 2009.
No, no, a thousand times no. Beamer doesnt deserve the bums rush.
As recently as 2011, Virginia Tech defeated three ranked teams on the road: Marshall, Georgia Tech and Virginia. The Hokies received the ACCs first Bowl Championship Series at-large bid that season, and if not for a dubious replay reversal of an overtime touchdown, likely would have beaten Michigan to conclude the first 12-win season in program history.

Damn straight!
Like the article, but Marshall was definitely NOT ranked when we beat them on the road in 2011.
Let's not forget, the rules were changed after that game because of the utter travesty that was the reversal of that catch. The Danny Coale Rule exists exactly for this reason
I would think parts C and D would apply, regardless of the other "not so fast" uncertainty rule he mentioned, if the original call was a catch...even being in question, the "incontrovertible evidence" replay rule would tend to favor the C and D paragraphs to me.
Wow, awesome article about the success of VT in the ACC!
Let's hope this staff can get us back into the ACC championship game and a 10-win season next year!
