NCAA Div 1 Council approves transfer waiver

According to the four letter, the NCAA will allow teams to sign up to 7 additional players to make up for transfers out of their programs. This waiver impacts the 25 scholarship per season limit.

I am sure there is a "Unless they are transferring to Tech" clause

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

Clearly, they needed to extend the rules.

It was too much work rubber stamping those Ohio State waivers.

This seems reasonable. When the free covid year rule was announced, I think everyone was worried about high school players getting screwed. Hopefully this helps with that!
