On the Cover3 pod yesterday they did a midseason awards show (sort of) where they talked about some frontrunners, and while I thought a lot of it was pretty weak in terms of their selections, Jermaine Waller got mentioned a few times as a nominee and then Bud Elliot went to bat for him as his favorite for the Thorpe. Not only does he have the picks (flash plays), he has an adjusted ypa when targeted of 1.9 yards lol. That's insane.
Waller has been a baller and has been playing his nuts off this year. I know he got burned for one td in the ND game (I didn't go back and watch the replay, I just know he was covering) but then he turned around and got all of those points right back in the 3rd. His ball hawking this year is off the charts.
