This is the difference between us and the rest of the power conference teams. Saban is upset after after a 52-24 win. Also Hooker looked amazing against bama. Fuente and everyone needs to go. Including Jham. Our defense is atrocious. How does a CB not make the penalty on that play instead of giving up the catch for a td? Our players do not have any football instincts and lack a sense of defending our home turf. There is no pride in Hokie football at this point in time.

I agree about Hooker. His work at UT shows a profound lack of talent development under Fuente.
I think it speaks more to cohesive offensive game planning rather than lack of development.
The HH thing is a huge indictment of this program. It's of-a-piece with other episodes with Fuente, but to me it's the most glaring.
My dad is a NDSU alum and we went up to see the Bison play at Towson this season. Quincy Patterson was the best athlete on the field and balled out. He and the starters sat all 4th for back ups to get PT. I never understood how QP and HH weren't good enough for Fuente but the Kansas & Oregon transfers were clear stsrters? You've gotta think Hooker and QP would have got these 4th and inches plays by leaning over and giving them the Logan Thomas auto 1st down play.
