Crazy that they do this detailed a prediction before the season starts, but at least our basketball programs are being well-regarded.

I expect a lot of coverage of Coach K's last season at Duke.

Yeah you really don't have to look hard at all to see how successfully this works.

Look at the bggameboomer twitter account. The guy started the account in June, tweets obscure opinionated graphics that usually have a giant controversial team/player included where they don't belong like to a satire level. He'll even reuse the same graphic and switch teams to drive interaction. His tweet interactions on those first few posts were through the roof for the number of followers he had. He's now sitting at 24k twitter followers and has a base to start a podcast that's "coming soon" and monetize.

Its frustratingly ingenious and terribly annoying when you recognize what they're doing.

Wasn't last year, his last year?

He announced in June that the 2021-22 season would be his last.

Vampires never go down with the first wooden stake.

When did Rick Pitino enter this conversation?

"Nooooooooooo!"
~What happened?
"James Franklin to Virginia Tech...."
~Fuck me......*sigh*
"Oh my God.... They're gonna take all our recruits... like WTF bro...."

FTFY

I hope we play our way better than that 8/9 line. I don't relish those potential next matchups against a 1 seed that early in the tourney.

I think/hope we have the ability to play up to the 3/6 lines.

When I was in Vegas in August, Hokies were a 60/1 to win it all.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

10 days in Vegas!? good luck man, hope you come out alive!

No kidding. After 3 days I'm usually done, just want to leave. 10 days is crazy.

Well to be fair...most of first and last days are travelling/settling in/packing up time, 1 day off to the Grand canyon...another day off to Red Rock Canyon...its really like 6-7 full days in vegas proper..... Ive been there twice for 7-10 days and came back up $500 for the week first time in 2010 and down about the same amount last time in 2019. I dont do a ton of sports gambling, mostly just blackjack two hands at a time at $10-15 tables. We spend a lot of time doing other stuff besides gambling.

If you are in that neck of the woods, Canyon De Chelly National Monument is also pretty cool.

As an AZ resident, for my money Canyon de Chelly is actually a cooler experience than the Grand Canyon. They are both breathtaking, but de Chelly has some amazing history along with it there in the Navajo Nation.

I had wanted to see it ever since I saw McKenna's Gold. The history, etc that was added was a nice benefit.

Update- I got 100-1 on the hokies to win the BB natty. Also took duke +11 for today. I feel dirty doin it but ill hope for the Hokies to win and not cover.
