The Hokies on the Midshipmen of the Naval Academy in Annapolis tonight!
The Midshipmen are coming off an upset of the #25 hoos in hooville earlier this week. They were down two starters and shot the lights out from deep, ending the game at 50% from 3. They also shifted to a zone defense in the 2nd half and held the cavs scoreless for 8 minutes late, although this may be more of an indictment on the hoos offense.
The Mids upset Georgetown last year as well, and are no strangers to knocking off higher ranked opponents.
The Hokies crushed the black bears of Maine earlier this week in the home opener. With a tough out of conference schedule ahead including Memphis, Maryland, and St Bonaventure later this winter, getting another victory will be important to building momentum for the tournament-hopeful Hokies.

Glad to see Pedulla, Big John, Maddox, and G'nessaun getting early minutes. We may actually have some real depth that we can count on down the stretch this year.

Lol that isn't what they said at all.
The shooting off the bench isn't there but the defense looks good at depth. Ball movement is okay but clearly much less crisp than when the first 5 are out.
Aluma with the pretty pass. Dude just does so many things well.

Last game I mentioned I was unimpressed by Storms shooting and control but noted he created space....looks like he's settled this game and still creating a ton of space off the dribble.
