Watching the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade with the kids. (Wish they would just show the parade instead of skipping entire units and bands). Then put to mow the grass before Thanksgiving dinner at 4 at the in laws.

I've got so much to be thankful for, including this community. Wishing all the best to you and yours. May your plates be loaded high and heavy, and may your naps be long and deep. An extra slice of pie for everyone!

It's Hokie (Turkey) Day! We're in the OBX and I've paid my $32 to NC for the privilege to feed their fish bait from shore through 2022, so I'll be getting some lines wet around The Point (if I pull anything alive in, it'll be a successful trip in my book).

The 33 people that showed up destroyed my 2 turkeys, mashed potatoes, hash brown casserole, green bean casserole, stuffing, cranberries, etc. I think I have 1 leg and a thigh left.
Hiding in the basement office right now, I am peopled out.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Wow, I've never disagreed with someone so much over something so small. There's nothing I look forward to more than the gallon-sized ziploc bag of fried turkey and multiple containers of sides I get to take home from my parents' house at the end of the night! SNACKS AND TURKEY SANDWICHES FOR DAYS!!

Had our traditional Thanksgiving meal of Indian spiced meatballs (kofta in yogurt), naan bread and basmati rice. Hey Columbus was trying to reach India, wasn't he?

It's about the party, not the leftovers.
But at a certain point, you have to save yourself.
Well Done.

TURKEY SANDWICHES FOR DAYS!!
Can I get an Amen from the congregation?
Yes you can.....
AMEN!!!
I'm not dissing the leftovers. Love them. But the name of the event is "Thanksgiving", not "Leftovers"!
Particularly after COVID, it's the fact that you get to SEE your parents, even if the turkey sandwiches are an awesome bonus.
My new roommate ate more turkey than I did.
Congratulations wasknick!!! Heartthrob right there
oh my god look at this glorious pup

Its better than being a cannibal like all the people talking about turkey above. /s
I actually wondered about Woodstock and his potential cannibalistic tendencies.
Watched the Parade. Watched football. Helped my mom cook. Ate tons of food.
