Today, we bear witness to the 2013 Season Championship games.
Today's games feature veteran and future Hall of Famer as well as the newest of rookies, in uniform for the first time in the NFL. An appropriate bookend for this season.
Patriots at Broncos 3:00 PM Sunday Fox
Ladies and Gentleman, may I introduce to you, appearing for the very first time in an NFL game, Mr Vinston Painter.
Mr. Painter is an Offensive Tackle, just activated from the Broncos practice squad. He will be wearing #70 and is 66 weighing in at 309lb. He is 24 years old and is an alum of Virginia Tech. Please stand and render solutes, cheers, clap and lift yer shirts as appropriate (or inappropriate).

The Patriots suck in a minute.
San Francisco at Seahawks 6:30 PM Sunday Fox
Seahawks
Representing the NFC west in todays championship game we have the hardest hitting safety in all of football. A man among men, I am pleased to introduce:
#31 Chancellor, Kam SS 6'3" 232 4 years in NFL. Kam has been a starter since 2011.

San Francisco of course, sucks. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Haters gonna hate. #gopats
Let me explain, Any team gets an automatic suck if they field no Hokies.
For the purposes of this series of threads, the rating is entirely dependent on the number of Hokies, amount of playing time, how many SuperBowl rings they have, etc.
It has nothing to do with my impression of the team, their prowess on or off the field or expectations for a win.
It is ALL about Hokies in the NFL.
Nothing about hating, it's suckage based upon Hokie presence. Because after all, what team could possibly suck if they wear orange and maroon under their skin?
In this case, The Patriots suck in a minute because of the
Minuteman reference. The 49'ers because other than California getting sucked into the Pacific, I couldn't think of a proper reference so, refer to Jerry Seinfeld as default.
Haha I gotcha.
#CHEATRIOTS #WHINERSSUCKAPORNOSIZEDONE
Kam gonna lay dem foos OUT!
I think probably everyone would agree, but I just want to see Kam win this one.
Yes, I agree...Rooting for the Seahawks because of Kam!!
Go Seahawks, lots of Great Sons of Virginia playing for the them!
I don't think the Patriots have ever gotten past their 2007 Season.
It used to be just Eli that p*wnd him. Now BOTH Mannings do.
Not cool there are some Pats fans here. Peyton can only beat Brady when half of Brady's team is injured.
Maybe next year bro. [sarcastica]
Meh it is what it is I put to much time and energy into the Hokie Nation to care. Only time I really pay attention to the Pats is playoff season. But I think I speak for most Patriot fans when I say 18-1 has scarred us for life and is one of the reasons I spend all my football energy on the Hokies.
I didn't see Painter at all until the post game.
I know we'll see Kam.
Tragically, Vinston was listed on the Broncos' inactive list before the game. Boo.
Oh, Dem guys teased us.
Edit: Ok, story I just got is that he's on the team but just did not dress out, along withy about 5 other guys on the team.
Not a great start for R. Wilson. He was like derp on the first play of the game.
R. Wilson looks nervous as fuck. Looks like a deer in headlights. That offense need to get their shit rolling.
That 12th man at Qwest did their job. Got the whiners to do a false start on 4th & Logan (or Kaepernick).
Harbaugh must be livid with these penalties.
R. Wilson not showing good QB technique or composure.
Chancellor just saved a TD. Damn.
And Kam makes an appearance. Thought he wouldn't wrap up for a second.
I think if the whiners score on this drive they will win it. Seattle is just not composed this game on offense.
AMAZING THROW BY WILSON!
He did it Mikey....oh, wait...
Go Seahawks!
I think the whiners got this one. Seattle's line just has zero answer for that pressure.
Kam's got his fingers in a high percentage of plays.
He hit the TD leap while in the air but there was too much forward momentum.
Holy shit and a BIG ASS TD by Marshawn!
HOLD MY DIIIIIICK
ROFLMAO!
anybody know anything behind why his celebration was to shake everyone's hand?
My favorite moment is the one high step.
Well that was fast.
Huge return by the Seahawks.
Kam with a MONSTROUS hit!!
Vernon Davis must really be scared of him after that hit last year and this one.
Scared? Probably not, but I'm sure he marks where 31 is before each play that's taking him across the middle.
It's a nice shot, but I'd be more impressed if he did it on a head-up tackle, not when the receiver is in a vulnerable position like that.
at least he led with his shoulder and hit Davis in the chest. It's not like he hit him in the chin with the crown of his helmet..
Oh, I'm not saying it's a dirty hit at all. It was fun to watch. I'm just sayin it's not the kind of thing that necessitates a change of pants (like everyone on Twitter and here seem to believe it is) since really the receiver is pretty defenseless.
And bam. Chancellor with a pick. #DBU.
Wow what a hit by Kam!
Nice hit by Kam. Seahawks got away with roughing there on the punt. Hope that's not a tipping point.
Aldon Smith must be pleased with himself.

Jim Harbaugh's unhappy faces.
Holy shit almost a #MANBEARPIG
It was actually almost exactly a #MANBEARPIG. Got down to about the 10.
I was jumping up and down in a crowded room filled with 49ers fans and three seahawks supporters screaming "FAT GUY TOUCHDOWN FAT GUY TOUCHDOWN FAT GUY TOUCH DOWN!"
All the workers at the cafe had to have been really annoyed with me.
All the Momentum belongs to Seattle now.

Not anymore. Not after that pathetic drive.
KC has been putting whiners on the turf ALL NIGHT!
Derp.
Wow. Smdh
Wow what a horrible injury. Feel so bad for Bowman.
Wow got to give san fran defense all the credit after that series of events. Big stand after losing your best player and getting hosed by the rules
LIKE A BOSS!!!
Kam....Boom!!!
Awwwww YEAAAAAHHHHHH BITCHEZ! DBU! DBU! DBU!
KAM!
Ugly throw, but Kam gets a pick!
Kam with the pick!
INT Chancellor.
Kam is a one man wrecking crew. Pick was right to him there
Kam is a beast!
Aquan Boldin remembers what that's like. Getting picked off in the 2000 NC.
That offensive series was atrocious.
RW3 has been running for his life all night long.
Kam had Crabtree scared
KC keepin on BOSSIN!
Don't let them score now, Hawks
Score now, Niners.
Son of a....
Look at it this way: A Hokie will be in the Super Bowl again!
Two.
Painter too. I stand corrected.
KC is hbavin a game! Cmon seahawks hang in there!
GAME!!!!!
THIS!
That pass...NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Wow!
Holy shit!
Sherman-damn son. Smdh
Well that will be getting some airtime this week... and next
FTW!

Sherman made a great play but, the complete lack of sportsmanship almost wipes the excellence of that play away.
No turkey leg for him.
Where's the gif of Sherman after the game? That shit was shocking but fucking hilarious.
Erin Andrews internally is like "I......don't really know how to deal with this situation. Here you go Joe!"
Sherman walked away I think. She was going to ask another question, but I agree she looked very uncomfortable.
Thoughts:
"This man is scary. I am scared."
I love watching Wilson play. Not just because he is exciting to see him do what he does, but with the added delight of knowing that O'Brien let him go and he has absolutely killed it ever since. And that this is a big reason why O'Brien now sits bitch to TimeCop on their journey down the toilet.
You could argue that Wilson got the push to excel from his forced exit at NCST, but I like to think he was being held back because of O'Brien who didn't understand what he had or how to use it.
Awesome.
