WR Changa Hodge will not return in 2022

Looks like he'll play in the bowl and then try to go pro

Yikes. Good luck to him but I'd love to know who is advising some of these kids

I don't think he has any eligibility left. He's been playing for 6 years (redshirt and covid year). I applaud him for chasing his dream even if it is a long shot.

He probably has 1 left if he's making an announcement, but after 6 years of college and would have to learn another offensive scheme, I can't blame him for just taking the chance. Hopefully if it doesn't work out, he has his degree to fall back on.

Pretty sure he only has another year if he receives a medical hardship. He's already a covid year super senior.

edit: I think I'm right on this. He transferred in on Aug 7 2020 as a Redshirt senior, so 2020 was his 5th year. 2021 was his COVID super senior year. If he were to get a medical hardship (I think he is eligible to apply), then he could only play in 2022 via that route for a 7th year.

Yeah, I noticed that he technically has one more year of eligibility for a medical redshirt, but I wasn't sure if you had to apply within a certain timeframe of the injury.

don't know but it's going to happen a whole bunch more times between now and June; otherwise there will be signees not enrolling and portal kids we won't be able to touch.

Man, going to be anyone left in the WR room? Better be working darn hard to keep Lofton here!

Wish him the best of luck with career and life.

Not cool man, this kid has been injured the two years he's been at tech, he chose to come here and is choosing not to transfer to a competitor school and go pro. He may not have had as much playing time but I bet he's just as Hokie as tre turner through and through.

He said give to me Roscoe
