Coach Pry's defense needs a big time boundary (WILL) linebacker (a backer in the old Bud Foster terminology). Tonight he is meeting with an instate recruit, Tyler Banks https://247sports.com/player/tyler-banks-46103205/ a three star who looks the part, although would need to bulk up from currently listed 205 pounds.
Had a the chance to meet with @CoachPry_LBU for the first time. Great home visit!π¦π¦@jcprice59 @CoachdjCheetah @Pettis70 pic.twitter.com/XA2yj98TlLβ Tyler Montgomery Banks (@TylerBanks25) December 6, 2021

Yay!!!
Read that as "Tyra Banks" and was confused.
That's a good looking Defensive staff on the recruiting trail.
Kid must feel special since the entire coaching staff came for a visit.
But where is the Commonwealth Cup?
Definitely not Charlottesville
there is a town in pennsylvania right off of I-78 named Shartlesville and it never fails to make me giggle like a little schoolboy when i pass by or think of it
I giggle too when driving past that town!
Not the fact that if you're approaching Gap, one way leads to Intercourse and another to Blue Ball?
Shartlesville is just too perfect for a Hokie that likes to dunk on Charlottesville
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
And if you're not heading to Intercourse, there's Bird in Hand.
That's a big boy
Kid was all district 1st team DE, 1st team TE, and 1st team PUNTER.
QB confirmed
Former UVA TE Patrick Estes was a TE/DE/punter for Benedictine. He was also 6'7" 250
Our 2000/2001 team was stacked with talent across the board started with Patrick at Strong side DE and TE, Patrick Dosh at QB, a future ECU LB, 6 FCS, Div 2 and 3 linemen on both sides of the ball and me at Strong safety getting abused by Estes every practice. He was a man among children.
He rode my bus in elementary school. Seemed like he was 6'7" back then too.
Nic Schmidt '22?
I feel like we've been overdue for another Costco-sized Hokie punter.
We only have 4 coaches on staff and they all showed up.
If this was 2018, Bud Foster would have been in house pitching the kid while Fu and Cornhole were outside trimming their finger nails in the rental car.
But are they willing to go THIS far?

What is less expensive, his sweatpants or his khakis?
Let it go, dude.
Let what go? My excitement for the new coaching staff?
I'm stoked to see the new coaching staff out there hitting the ground running, building relationships, utilizing social media well and giving some life to the program, especially compared to the poor recruiting job done by the last staff. If anyone isn't happy with my comparison, then I guess they should have done a better job at it.
I think he's saying go with the excitement, and let go of the anger at the prior administration.
Fuente has left the building.
I'm not angry. I'm comparing. Based on a story posted the other day about Fu being in, I believe it was Ford's home, I'm making a legit comparison. If you want to see me be angry, ask me how I feel about customer service at corporate companies.
it was at Kabuki in cburg with Ford on a visit of his
Thanks, I stand corrected on the location. The apparent lack of interest by Fuente is what sounded so bad.
Curious is there a difference between a whip and a will back?
short answer- will is what we called the backer. sam is what pry calls the whip. Or at least that is what he called it at Penn State.
long answer- TKPC all January and February
If you are hinting at some forthcoming content regarding potential X's and O's with the new staff, I think this is what I'm most excited for and the main reason I rejoined TKPC. I can't wait to digest some French film study this off season on what our new defense, and I presume offense, may look like.
If that isn't what this post is about, I completely misread it and I apologize.
247 #37 in VA with Mich, Cal, Ole Miss, So Car etc offers... Right. Nice work 247
Tough cycle for rankings with most/all of the class missing their junior camp/7on7/spring-summer on campus evals. Many kids had abbreviated, non-existent, or spring football seasons as well last year. We have already seen a lot of rankings "corrections" throughout the year and I think we will see more through the last few weeks and months of this cycle.
Cal? Odd, but I'll allow it.
Justin Wilcox appreciates your allowance.
That room could do some work at a buffet!
Go get 'em team!!!!!
