Would love for the BC game to be Thursday night at home. The Hokies definitely owe those guys, and it would be fitting to get revenge in Lane on Thursday night...7 years after the game of which we will not speak, but never forget.

I got back from a 15-month tour in Iraq that morning. He ruined my homecoming. Still hate him, and will root for anyone playing against him as long as he's in the league.

Mark My words if the Miami game is on a Thursday Night, I will be attending which will be my first game at Lane Stadium. Although I have been to maybe 20 games never have I witnessed a true Enter Sandman in Lane so why not make it happen on a Thursday Night game vs The Zima's

Used search didn't want to start a whole new topic. Why does the ACC wait so long to send out th yearly schedule? What is going to change between now and Feb?

They also have a lot of games that occur on the same weekend every year. Example: UF/UGA is ALWAYS on the last weekend in October. This past year, the SEC changed the dates of certain games for the first time in a while, a lot of my SEC friends were really angry about it.

Don't feel bad. You weren't the only one. I have some friends who are planning a Blacksburg wedding next fall and the venues won't take reservations until the ACC schedule is released....so when I saw this pop up I told them the schedule will be released tomorrow at 3! Well 3 came and went and there was no schedule.

I think Miami will be Thursday night.
So do I. Gives us a chance to bust out AME and show them what big brother is all about.
So I guess since we haven't heard anymore about a reshuffle of the divisions, that won't be happening for 2014.
No, the previous remarks from Swofford indicated that any changes would be after the 2014 season.
They will all be noon games (including on Thursday) and somehow we'll be saddled with 2 trips to Boston College.
And play at Miami again. In the rain again thankfully.
Didn't hurt last time
Is it just me, or is this incredibly early?
for the ACC...yes.
for every other conference...no
Yet another example of the ACC closing the gap!
Seems like it, after last year's debacle.
There damn well better be a Thursday Night Home Game for us this year!
If not, and I find the address of the ACC's headquarters, I'm rioting.

PLOT TWIST: Every game is a night game. New AD outlaws noon kickoffs.
So what you're saying is Sam Rogers is the new AD?
#allnooneverything
...who do we blame for noon games now??
UVA.
Always.
THURSDAY NIGHTS IN LANE BETTER BE FUCKING COMING
Interestingly, I saw where Duke-UNC will be a Thursday night game, week before Thanksgiving.
That means we are either the week before or after...right?
Weaves promised it. I will be anxiously awaiting it.

Oh God, has it really been 7 years? That night still haunts me just like it was yesterday....

Really not interested in another Thursday night game vs. BC or even GT for that matter. Miami all the way!

Good question
The SEC did it in freakin OCT.
it helps build the suspense
It just makes it hard to plan any long term game visits especially to away games.

Excellent use of the search function, by the way. Community guidelines FTW! (edit: I think that means 'for the win')
I can confirm this.
Ah, 'cause of your name. Leg for you, good sir.
So, what is the schedule?
Check the timestamp, this thread was started last year, got resurrected today.
Thanks. Duh

Your friends are going to have to wait until Feb. which is such bullcrap.
The OOC schedule in September is out so they've tentatively booked for the last Saturday in September. Hopefully nothing changes.
Fall Wedding?
Get new friends, or atleast get them a bad gift.
Looks like late January for the 2015 schedule release
That's an upgrade, but still sad.
