Damn. I mean I totally understand it but I was really looking forward to getting back in Cassell for the first time since the Wake game which feels like ages ago.

Hopefully everyone gets healthy soon.

I found TKP after two rails from TOTS then walking back to my apartment and re-watching the 2012 Sugar Bowl. I woke up the next day with this username.

Because this is a message board. Not something I spend a lot of time on. How is everyone expected to be aware of every "talk" that happens, from people who spend hours a day on TKP to someone like me who spends maybe 15 mins a week if that?

Additionally, if saying "China sucks" is political or inappropriate to TKP, I think we might need to lighten up a little bit haha, maybe all the Fu-Corn hatred is getting to some of yall

Look, I'm not going to get into anything just out of respect for what the owners of the site/moderators want TKP to be, but labeling everything racist and/or silencing people for saying what I said or something similar is just pathetic, and I hate to see that's what this site is turning into. There are at least a dozen other ways to have said what you said without earning the nuke. You could have just as easily have said COVID sucks.

There are also plenty of reasons to say China sucks. I think China sucks at making a decent cheese.

What you said is straight up dogwhistle garbage using purely politicized hate in your verbiage. Your opinion would have been fine, and warranted, without it.

I prefer it when people who choose not follow the community guidelines choose not to visit the site, though I would much rather you read the guidelines, followed them, and joined the discussion.

There are infinite number of other ways, forums, or outlets to express those opinions, TKP isn't the place.

I know you said you won't be back, but the best practice when a mod locks the subthread isn't to start a new one to push back. Just let it be.

Do they get any extra practices because the game is postponed? I haven't been keeping up with sports over the past couple weeks.

If it is canceled because we have a lot of players in COVID protocol, we probably won't have much of a practice. If they canceled it should be practice as usual? I did not where it said which was the case?

Edit - looked it up - we are in protocol, no mention of how many in quarantine, but if its enough we can't play, doubt we practice.

I read somewhere, maybe the RT, that they are practicing. Guessing those not in quarantine are able to practice. But not enough players for a game. And I don't know the ACC requirements for minimum players available to complete. Did read the Duke WBB were down three players and the game was played last night.

Show how little I know about the protocol, but makes sense. Not sure how much of factor it is, but in watching VT stomp Duke in the women, they were down 3, but no starters. 1st girl off the bench and two without real minutes. I remember BC playing last year in men's with almost all walk-ons. I could not find where the ACC publishes the guidelines, but found this quote from a Syracuse sports reporter:

For men's and women's basketball, the conference has adopted a new "seven-and-one" policy that requires a team to have seven available athletes and one available coach. The policy takes effect immediately.

If a team doesn't have that many players available, "the game shall be a no contest," according to the ACC's announcement, though the game should be rescheduled if possible. If a team has the required personnel but refuses to play, only then will the game be a forfeit.

Not sure how well we can practice without at least seven players or a coach.......

Honest question about the nuked comment: do the mods downvotes count as a hundred or do we really have hundreds of lurking TKP'ers. It seems like the best of posts barely achieve plaid status but i've seen a couple posts recently in negative hundreds. Just curious.
